"Unfortunately this hotel has become a haven for dog owners which is ok if you own a dog.
The room we got allocated on arrival smelled of wet dog and I immediately went to reception to get a change of room.
We got a new room which was slightly better but every floor had dogs staying in rooms.
Unfortunately although I have owned dogs in the past it isn’t for me and will not be staying again."

Telephone attendant have no idea when their reception open/closes.
They told us the checkin is open until 12AM and when we reach at 11:30, there was no one - they locked and went home.
Their emergency number is another joke, don’t expect anyone will help you in case of emergency at night.
We cancelled our trip and went back."

"Welcomed by a lovely, helpful lady, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. She took us next door and showed us where our room was, we had a twin room on the top floor, it was immaculately clean, very comfortable beds and bathroom very clean with toiletries supplied.
Small private car park to rear of hotel, which is locked 10pm-7am. Bus stop directly outside into the town, or a 10 min walk.
Would definitely stay again when in Cardiff."

"Easy to find hotel and good check in.
Room was pretty clean although the bathroom could do with an update. The grouting and tiles on the floor around the toilet need refreshing as it smelt of urine when in the toilet cubicle.
We had a twin room with two doubles and they were really comfy with great pillows. The room was really hot and hard to balance using air con as it then became too cold.
I would stay here again if needed."

"The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!"

"We had a great stay at the priory, room was a perfect size, I enjoyed a soak in the beautiful claw foot bath.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pool, jacuzzi and sauna very well kept, lovely bar service nice and friendly and food was lovely. Comfy bed and soft pillows. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, we would definitely stay here again, nice and relaxing overnight stay."
