Circa 1870 Oceanfront Home in Brant Rock - Commanding Views Of The Ocean

  • This is your vacation - why settle for less? Large, New England style Oceanfront home featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Among the many amenities are free WIFI, cable TV, an outdoor grill, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Unbeatable ocean views, hardwoods, and 10 foot ceilings throughout most of the house. Comfortably sleeps 9 in beds but can sleep many more if sofas and foldout beds are used!

    We recently renovated the home, keeping the old New England charm but adding modern elegance and convenience! The home also features new, high-end mattresses and bedding.

    This home is on Brant Rock's "high road" and boasts commanding views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy watching the sunrise from the large front porch. Rock Beach is a short stroll down the road or venture to the rocky beach in front of the home to explore and play in the tide pools at low tide. Beaches in area: Brant Rock Beach, Green Harbor Beach, Rexhame Beach and Duxbury Beach. Home is located in walking distance from many popular restaurants. We are also located 0.6 miles away from Peter Igo Park, which provides tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts. You can walk or drive, they have public parking available.

    Downstairs contains a large kitchen with appliances, 1 private bedroom with a queen, 1 bathroom (with a shower), a formal dining room, large family room, sitting area with HDTV, and a laundry room. The views from the kitchen, living room, and sitting room are breathtaking. See the photos!

    Upstairs contains 3 private, spacious bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full, 1 bunk twin/full) and 1 full bathroom (with shower/soaker tub). Lots of closet/storage space. A private enclosed porch is just off the upstairs "master" with 180 degree ocean views. HDTV with cable in the "master."

The home has a beautiful view of the ocean and the first floor bedroom was perfect for our mother. There was plenty of space for all family members. It is too bad that our favorite restaurant, Haddad's, is no longer open as it was within walking distance.

Loved staying here to help balance the hustle if visiting Boston and the ability to reach Plymouth and Cape Cod easily. In easy walking distance from several restaurants, spectacular views and access to the shore added to the value. We’d stay here again!

Nice house and location, plenty of room. The parking situation with 3-4 cars can be difficult and some of the lights need to be replaced other than that it was great. We had a good time staying there.

Wonderful stay

Best porch for coffee

My family was in town for a wedding and this house was perfect for us. Lots of room plus the porch is the best place to enjoy coffee. We watched the most seals I’ve seen in one place playing on the rock outcroppings. Just a very short walk down to lots of restaurants and the market.
