"We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location."

"Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. We can’t wait to go back. We were able to take our golden retriever who loves all things woods and water. Wish we could have stayed longer! "

"My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait...

"This home is an absolute must for anyone having a wedding or other big event at the Bradley House. The home is spacious and beautiful and spacious, with plenty of room for all residents to get ready. It's hard for the listing pictures to do justice to how gorgeous the interior and the grounds are. Shari was very friendly and easy to communicate with and welcomed us in herself. If we ever needed to relive our wedding experience with a small group of friends, we'd come here. "

"My first VRBO rental and it turned out wonderfully. House was clean, perfect size, perfect location for my visit. The owner thought of many small touches that I never dreamed would be in the house, such as blow dryer, laundry products, even hairspray. It was nicely decorated for the season as well. "Check in and check out process super easy. Cathy was once nice and responsive to any questions we had. We loved the house. Decor is adorable. It’s remote as mentioned in the listing. Little to no cell phone service. WiFi was ok. We didn’t mind at all. It was enough for us to communicate with our families at home if needed. Backyard is so cute. "Rhiannon we had such a great time during our stay! The home had everything we needed — super comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Mornings with coffee by the river was so peaceful, and we loved ending the day with a cozy bonfire at night. We had family members that were showing their cars at Mayhem 11 so the car show was really fun. We went a couple of times to a very nice restaurant called Tacos Tequila in Bourbonnais.
