"Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. The dock light was nice, but did attract alot of bigs when on. FYI- the...

"Property manager Kim, always answered when called. Major hurricane passed through about two weeks prior. Neighbors are quiet. About 15 roosters live near. Could have been cleaned better. Was hair on pillows and bath tub needed a through cleaning. Driveway is made up of oster shells which was very sharp and ended up cutting my dogs feet. The listing did not display this info."

"LOTS of stairs. They use something to clean ceiling fans assuming that is what was all down one side of the master bed and dripped on the floor. I washed all sheets etc before laying down. A few maintenance items needed but not a big deal. Last step outside no railing so I fell only 1 time though. Outside grill was dirty. Big sign showing house for sale and host communication was poor. All else was great "

"The property was clean and mostly as described except the listing should be as a condo. This house is split and I believe the owners have the other side. They were not there during our stay. Also if you are bringing a boat, the steep dip in driveway will not allow your trailer to back in so would be tough if sharing with owners or another renter. Even the check in and out instructions on the fridge call this a condo. Once again, it was clean, great location. There is not a specific master...

"We chose this one because of the dock and boat lift. We got so much more. The deck, dock and outdoor living spaces were over the top. Very nice and comfortable outdoor furniture. Great fishing amenities and walking distance to bait shop and launch. Ample parking, even with a boat trailer. Five stars. "

"Nice place to stay for a group. We were only given one trash bag, paper towel and toilet paper for 12 people for 4 days was our only set back. Sheets and towels left in dryer for us to put away when got there. Otherwise four stars."
