Welcome to Vestre Kinn Farm by Lake Rødenessjøen.

Our cozy guesthouse, “Veslestua,” is perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers. Whether for vacation or work. The farmstead is idyllically situated in beautiful surroundings, and you’ll wake up to birdsong and chickens and peacocks in the yard ☺️

Accommodations include a 160 double bed and a double sofa bed in the same room.

✅ Bedding and towels are included in the price.
✅ All four-legged friends are welcome—they must be kept on a leash in the farmyard, due to other farm animals

The Location
Veslestua is located on a farmstead with a main house, a storage shed, and a barn. We stay in the main house. The property is approximately 20 mål of forest, pasture, and farmyard. It is possible to sleep in the storage shed if there are more than two of you. Please contact us for more details.

Veslestua has a hallway, bathroom, kitchen, and living room/bedroom. Simple accommodations with a cozy interior and charming details.

Guest Access
Guests have access to Veslehuset, with parking in the designated spot on the right before turning into the farmyard. There is a patio in front of the house with a table and chairs available for use.

Other things worth noting
Vestre Kinn Farm is located in a quiet area. We do our best to ensure you have a relaxing stay. However, from time to time it will be necessary to mow the lawn, tend to the greenhouse, shovel snow, or perform other chores on the farmyard.

We have a farm dog that usually roams freely in the farmyard. Visitors with dogs are expected to keep their dogs on a leash, as there are chickens, cats, turkeys, and peacocks roaming freely on the farmyard during the day. Sheep graze in pastures on the farm.

Guests receive fresh eggs from the farm, which are waiting on the table upon arrival, in season 🥚☺️
