Christmas Adventure

Very homey and accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. Loved the fire place and location. Easy communication. The only draw back to our stay was having major flight delays and arriving early Christmas morning and not being able to get groceries. Waffle House to the rescue.

Niece's Wedding

Our niece got married at Charlyn Farms which was just a short 20 minute drive so the location was perfect! The house is cozy, welcoming and very clean! I would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at this comfortable home in a lovely woods setting. It’s a quiet spot and convenient for accessing the many wild spaces in the area. We loved the porches!

Family wedding

We loved the house. It provided us with everything we needed and was very cute and clean. We were able to relax on the deck with the rocking chairs and loved the peace and quiet. We came for a family wedding and we enjoyed the peace and quiet out here.

Our 4th stay and there will be many more

This house is perfect for a family trip. We have been previously and love the location and the home itself. My kids love to be in the river behind the house. It’s close to Travelers Rest, Greenville, parks-Table Rock, Jones Gap State Park. We like the Brevard area and it’s only a 45 min ride away. You can do the Cradle of Forestry, sliding rock and lots of other things in that area. We also have become fond of the county park 5 mins from this house called Pleasant Ridge. Mountain bike and hiking trails are available there. We fished in the pond and played on the playground. The house is clean and has everything you need available. The owner is super easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this one!

A great retreat

This is our second time staying at this wonderful retreat. It is perfectly situated in the middle of nowhere, yet it is also conveniently close to Greenville, Traveler's Rest, Hendersonville, and Asheville. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, or you need to make use of the fast internet, I highly recommend this property. Phyllis is also great to work with, although everything worked perfectly, so I didn't need to bother her much!

Exceptional

This was our second time staying here and was just as nice and relaxing as the first time. This place is amazing. What a beautiful place inside and out. Loved sitting out on the porches, so peaceful. The grandkids loved playing in the big fenced in yard, fishing and tubing on the river. Everything you need for your stay was there for us. A little piece of heaven. Look forward to staying again!!

Exceptional family retreat

This wonderful vacation home is great for family gatherings. Our grandchildren had lots of room to play, outdoors and indoors- fun games provided. Wading and floating in the river was a hit. House was immaculate and every small convenience was planned, enough towels, extra dishes, laundry room, etc. Day trips through Jones Gap Park we’re a great adventure and catching a trout was a highlight for our grandson. Thank you so much to our thoughtful host.

Dreamy River Home!

This place is idyllic! The home is very well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The big yard is beautifully maintained. Everything about this place is dreamy. Be prepared to stay once you arrive because there’s almost nothing around you but that’s what makes it so peaceful.

Beautiful Property

The house is beautiful and kitchen had everything you would need. My dog loved the huge fenced in yard. We enjoyed grilling out, the fire pit and fishing in the river. Will be back again.

Peaceful Christmas

We chose to go away for Christmas and this was the perfect location. We had a Mountain View, wood burning fire place and a roaring river in the background. It was a great stay and our host was super responsive too.

Home away from home

This place is perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and doesn’t mind driving 15-20 minutes into town. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped. The fenced in yard is perfect for small kids to run around in and enjoy the fresh air. We really enjoyed our stay here.
