The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!"

"We checked in at 4:00pm and found that there was no electricity. We called the owner and was told that there was an power outage starting at 6:00am and that the power would not be restored until 8:00pm. We were hungry but couldn't find any place open for dinner. It was getting cold. So we had to drive for 2 hours to a town to have dinner and stay over night. Since the owner knew of the power outage early in the morning, the owner should have been more considerate and contacted us earlier. ...
