We went up to visit my daughter who lives in the North Cascade mountains. This was the perfect location to meet up with her. The place is remote but not too remote. The property, the views, and the area are gorgeous. Driving to the cabin gave me a sense of serenity.
The property manager, Sarah, was proactive in her communication and very helpful with her recommendations for the area. She is probably one of the best hosts I've dealt with in all of my rentals. She provided me with detailed information on how to get into the cabin, the ins and outs of the cabin, and the Marblemount area.
The home was exactly as listed. Driving up the place was a treat in and of itself. The overhanging trees were a beautiful surprise for someone living in the city. I loved the modern day touch of the home with the feel of being in the country. There was plenty of space to move around, it had all the amenities we needed, and it was cozy for the few rainy days/evenings that we had. We could not have been happier with our visit. I would have loved to be out on the patio more but the rain had other ideas. Still, when it was clear in the evening, we were able to stand outside and experience the vastness of the evening, star-filled sky.
If you are in the Marblemount area, this would be the ideal place to stay.
