"Great view of the ocean, beach access just across the lawn, in a peaceful, quiet surrounding with privacy. The studio is smallish but has the essentials, and its terrace is a very nice place to spend time on. The owners are kind, helpful and pleasant to communicate to. Highly recommended for couples who want to unwind on beach outside town, yet not far away from shops/restaurants. "

"The house has been renovated to a high standard with fantastic bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and nice little touches like magazines, brochures on things to do and the smart tv all added to the very enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay again. "

"This is a true old style Kiwi bach, a bit scruffy and well worn/used. But that is its beauty and authenticity. Staying by the beach in a more remote part of Aotearoa, I do not want a super-swish, Auckland style apartment. The area is stunningly beautiful, especially Whanarua Bay itself. But there seem to be undertones of local conflict over who can fish, how and where. So be careful and sensitive."

"Wonderful property if you are looking for a place away from the city. Excellent and accurate communications with the property management team, many thanks Wendy. Check in was super easy and this was by far and away the best equipping residence that we have ever stayed in. "Great property for a large group. We had 9 people and it was excellent, very versatile for a mixed group of couples and singles. It's really well insulated so once the fire had heated the place up, it stayed toasty warm during our rather cold winter stay. "
