This beautiful house has so much to offer throughout its three levels. The top level, the vibrant hub of the house, captures breathtaking views of both the ocean and the deep green of the forest below.The well-appointed kitchen opens to a dining area heated by the fireplace. The living room, equipped with comfortable furnishings and cable TV, awaits its guests. Step out onto the deck and grill up your favorite foods just off the kitchen while enjoying the ocean views.

The lower level has a family room with a futon and cable TV. With a foosball table and ping pong table the kids will have plenty to do on those rainy Oregon days. This is the perfect home-away-from-home for year-round visits to the coast.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place for a family trip

The highlight was the closeness to the beach and a view of the ocean. Could hear the waves. The place was clean and included a washer/dryer with complimentary detergents. The rooms were clean and spacious. Kids would love the bunk beds. The foosball and pingpong tables are also there for a friendly family competition.There are also many fun board games to play after an awesome day at the beach. Kitchen was clean and provided basic necessities if cooking. The gas bbq was also a great addition. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the garage. There was a strong unpleasant odor, which we noticed when went there for a game of pingpong. There were also a few mice were running around eventhough it is expected to see them considering the location. Overall, it was a fun and pleasant stay for us and hope to return soon.

Loved Manzanita

This property was a great spot for our weekend in Manzanita. It has a great little grassy area and little perks for the pooches. We walked down to the beach each day.... The walk back up the hill is steep but doable. Beds were super comfy, we slept wonderfully listening to the little stream behind the house. Needs some potholders.

Much more than expected.

We went with our family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and had a great time. We didn’t realize there were a couple flights of stairs that my disabled sister wouldn’t be able to do. But discovered there was an elevator, which to us felt like divine intervention. Everything worked out! It’s a really great house with nothing lacking. One of the best I’ve stayed in.

Needs Upgrading

Fine place to stay, good not great. A bit crowded among other houses at top of steep hill. 'Yard' was barely a yard and not kept up. House has funky layout but nice overall. It was clean for most part.* Dishwasher had broken with previous renters and was never repaired during our visit. Said we'd be notified but never called to say repair people weren't coming. *Some of dishes and pots and pans were dirty yet were away in cabinets. Fire extinguisher not present though supposed to be. Ocean views through trees. I've had better - this was just ok.

Handicap Accessible

Booked this beautiful home in the spring. Last week, our daughter broke her leg. We weren't sure how she was going to get up and down the three levels. When we arrived, there is an elevator! Answered prayers for her to be mobile throughout the house. This could not have been a better set up for her. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, handicap accessible home with us! Forever thankful for an amazingly relaxing week!

Cozy, lovely and spacious beach home.

We have been visiting the Manzanita area for many years and this is our favorite place yet! We liked that it was a little ways away from town, and in a quiet residential neighborhood. The beach is at the very north end and felt private even though we were there during spring break. (Yes; it’s a short steep hike up the hill to the house so it might be a challenge if traveling with little ones.) Inside you will be pleasantly surprised with the finishes, details and overall comfortable touches everywhere. Also incredibly dog friendly. Sleeping to the sounds of the stream plus the ocean was heavenly. We’ll be back!!

Great stay

We really enjoyed this house, perfect for our kids. The bunk room was great, loved the ping pong and foosball. The 5 minute walk to the beach was doable, got a good workout on the way up the hill! The views were great, loved hearing the ocean from the house.

Wonderful stay in "treehouse" near the beach

The property is just up the hill from the beach (about a 3-block, steep, walk) and feels like you are in a treehouse. We had two adults, 4 teens and an 89-year-old in our group, plus our two dogs, and the house worked well for all of us. Fenced-in yard is quite small, but upstairs deck is wonderful. Long-ish walk into "downtown" Manzanita or very short drive.

Beautiful surroundings, quick walk to beach.

Location was away from the bustle of town, which we appreciated (especially during covid), but quick walk to beach. Beautiful nature all around property. House was great as expected and very clean. Awesome to have a small fenced yard to let the dogs out.

Plenty of space

We enjoyed our stay at this manzanita home. There was plenty of space, a large sunny deck with views of the ocean, and a comfortable living area. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Although, the stovetop did not work well. You could not turn the burners to low. Overall we had a comfortable stay!

Family Vacation

This property was spotless and absolutely gorgeous! We loved all the extra touches and how pet friendly it was...they even have sheets out for your fur babies! So roomy and easy for everyone to have a little bit of privacy if needed. If you are traveling with a toddler...be sure to bring a baby gate! The stairs are steep and the top floor is the main gathering area. Easy walk to the beach and a good workout to walk. Ack up the hill on the way home. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Creek and ocean sounds

We stayed over Christmas and it was super cozy. The top floor is like a wonderful apartment in the trees with a nice kitchen, views of the ocean, and the deck with the sound of the rushing creek. There weren't any people in most of the other houses so I don't know what it would be like in the summer, but it was really quiet for us.
