Get away to the coast in this barn-style home with rustic touches throughout! Gorgeous pine accents throughout the interior walls, a wood stove, along with colorful furnishings set the tone for a fun vacation (try to find the painting of the different whales!). Outside you will find a great deck area with plenty of seating, a fire pit for added warmth, and a gas grill for BBQs. Feel free to bring the family dog along!

The house is centrally located, just one block from downtown and one-tenth of a mile away. Head two blocks north to Laneda Avenue, where guests will find plenty of shops, wine tasting, and numerous dining options. Manzanita Links (just over half a mile away) provides a fun nine-hole course close to the shore.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The grill is only available during warm seasons.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good place for the two of us. South facing, lots of light except for the main bedroom where you don't want it. Well equipped. Very quiet, at least at this time of year. Easy walk to beach. Fun decor.

First the good news; the house is located nicely within walking distance to the town and beach. It has a cozy vintage vibe with lots of places to sit and enjoy. The bad news…we found some woman’s underwear crumpled in the corner of the bedroom. The grill was so rusted and corroded, it wasn’t safe to use it. The bathroom ‘doors’ are just louvered shutters, affording little privacy. We couldn’t get the television to work, so called the ‘help’ number and never received a call back. Disappointing…

Fantastic place to stay in Manzanita

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved our stay in Manzanita. This house is on a quiet street just over a block to the beach. It’s beautiful and serene. Lots of birds around the beautiful garden. Five adults stayed and were all very comfortable. It’s spacious and quiet. Everything you will need is there. We loved it and the aurora borealis while we were there was absolute perfection! Happy to share photos with the house with the owner if they’d like :)

It was like staying a hideaway home of our own. Very well appointed, fully equipped kitchen in case your wanted to cook your own meals. Ivwould stay he tree again without question! Excellent accomdations!

Manzanita Hideaway

Very nice, comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay, however being a dog friendly home, the set up could have been better if the deck was secure. We had to leash and tie our dogs whenever we enjoyed the deck. Small dogs (like ours) can very easily go right through the railing and the deck is open on both ends. Other than that, staying at Hallie Hideaway was great! Thank you!

Very well cared for property, comfortable beds and close to town services. Market is nearby with almost anything you need. Highly recommend! We love Manzanita because it’s a nice quiet little town, not the usual beach tourist mecca

Perfect spot in Manzanita

Loved this place! It’s what we’ve been looking for on the Oregon Coast. Cozy and clean. The wood burning stove provided great heat and made the stay extra cozy. House is in a great location for easy beach access and walkability to restaurants and shops. We will stay here again.

Cozy and Comfortable

The Hallie Hideaway is a lovely place to stay. Sure, it'd be even better if it were on the ocean instead of a block and a half away from the trail down to the ocean. But it is cozy and comfortable and has lots of useful spaces and amenities. The kitchen is well equipped. The rooms are all sizable and have comfortable furniture. It's a two-block walk to down. The online information is somewhat misleading. The house certainly isn't a one bedroom. Up a nice, wide set of stairs is a lovely second bedroom in a loft. It has three beds in it. I might even prefer staying up there if the second bathroom were on that floor, not the first. Also, please note that the deck is on the first floor, not the upper one, as you might assume from a quick look at the photos. My experience would've been even better if the owner or property manager had replied to a note in which I'd asked several questions; if Vacasa hadn't had significant problems with its billing system, requiring me to make many calls to get my payment to go through; and if I'd been given a working number for the Vacasa office in Spokane, Washington, to which I'd been sent.
