Great stay! So close to everything yet very quiet. We could hear the ocean at night. Loved the back porch and beautiful gardens surrounding the home. FYI—they are building a new home right next door and the construction workers started between 7:30-8am. It wasn’t a problem for us as we get up early anyways but it might be for some. Obviously this is just a short term issue.

I was pleased with overall condition of the property. Quite clean and comfortable. Construction next door was distracting. Our only real issue was with the entry door lock which seemed to be malfunctioning. We were unable to unlock with the combination we received nor the replacement combination given by support. . Finally got a combination for the door key to a separate box.

4 Nights in Manzanita

This cottage is quaint and comfortable. A great price for value. Location is terrific being 1 block off the main street with shops and restaurants and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Super convenient.convenient

Will stay here again!

Cute house that utilizes its space really well and is very clean. Right off of the main street, makes for a perfect location. Check in and check out were super easy. It’s a great house for 2 to 3 adults. Or two adults and two children. There is a cute enclosed back deck area that we really enjoyed as well. Definitely would recommend and will stay there again.

Lovely cottage by the sea

We stayed two nights and now I wish we had more time. Perfect location, just a couple minute walk to the beach. Very nice and safe area. The house was very clean and welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen, but there were enough dining options we didnt have s chance to use it. Convenient grocer just around the corner of you wanted to cook. We were unable to use the door code to get in but a quick call to Vacasa had us in using the lockbox key within minutes. On site parking was super easy. This would be my first choice if we return to the area, but will stay longer next time for sure.

Great stay

Based on the picture of the exterior of this house (dirt front yard) I was unsure as to what ot expect. But I was pleasantly surprised. The place was exceptionally clean and offered everything you could possibly need. It's an easy walk from the house to a grocery store, restaurants and the ocean. My only complaint is that the place smells musty when you first go inside.

No car needed

Great little property in a perfect location to walk everywhere. House is small but cozy and was really clean. Deck and outdoor space was nice to sit and relax on in the morning or evening. The only thing we noticed we didn't have was some extra blankets to snuggle with on the couch. Probably only an issue for a few of us that are always cold 😄 Go to the wine bar next door for an evening wine down, and then go to Yolk for breakfast or lunch, will not be disappointed, it is worth the wait!

Beautiful cottage near the shore

We loved our short stay. The house was immaculate and well appointed. Our only difficulty was upon check in. The code we were sent was a digit short so we had to call for help. Once in the door, all went smoothly.

Comfortable, right near restaurants and markets, short walk to the beach. All was good.

Everything went smoothly we were pleasantly surprised across-the-board. One thing I’d suggest is putting some kind of bumpers or securing the sign that says cottage by the sea. On windy nights it bangs against the side of the house waking me up thinking someone was knocking at the door.

Holiday Getaway

The house was just as advertised. My husband and I had the most cozy stay at this house right before the holidays. The house was spotless and the location was perfect. It was rainy most of the time so it was so nice to be able to walk out the door and steps away from restaurants and stores. And during breaks in the rainy weather, the beach was a few minutes walk away. The gas fireplace was lovely and made the place even cozier. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. There were lots of towels, and the bathroom, like the kitchen, was spotless. The property manager responded right away to my emails and text. Basic cable was provided and we used the DVR cable to hook up our laptop to watch movies and stream. It was just perfect.

Lovely House

The very comfortable house had many amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. The gas fireplace added a lot of warmth and made it very cozy. The linens were soft and plentiful. My only complaint was the the directions for the DVD player and TV were totally inadequate. I never could get the TV to work (this was disappointing since there was breaking news to view). I would suggest much more detailed instructions. That said, the location and amenities in this cute house were really great. Thank you for the stay.

Cozy Great getaway house

Great location. A short walk to the beach. Right next to local shopping. 2 blocks Away from coffee shops. Wine bar next to property. Sooo you can have that 2 nd glass & walk next Right door To home. ( The wine bar did not cause any noise ) very low key. Very cute house. Will come back.

Cozy and Close to everything

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Just off the main drag of Laneda, it's a pleasant walk to the beach, shops, the bay. It was perfect for our needs. Clean, and well furnished, the house made our stay quite pleasant.

It could have been perfect

This property is one of the nicest we have stayed in, very clean, well stocked, location excellent and quiet. BUT. We eat in, and found out the first day that the light over the dinning table didn’t work. We tried to change the bulb (not an easy effort) to no avail. Looked everywhere for a different light switch. Nothing. Called and emailed the company. Nothing Then the WiFi worked until the second day. Then it didn’t. We needed the WiFi because our iPad, laptop are WiFi only. The only communication we we were getting were solicitations from the company to buy beach property. I responded to those emails saying stop we are not interested. I called the company to ask about fixing the light. Nothing We called again and complained about the WiFi, the person was nice and tried to help. Couldn’t do anything about the light but tried with the WiFi. The old unplug it and wait, plug back in, worked with him. Then for the next two days plugged and unplugged. Very, very frustrating. And had our last dinner here at a dark table. We are sad that someplace so nice could be made so uncomfortable. This could have been fixed while we were here.

Awesome location and great little place

We really love the enclosed area off of the bedroom with the fire pit. Great place to read or have a glass of wine and covered in case it rains. Clean little house well laid out. All dishes and pans needed Incase you want to cook. Second bedroom is also nice though we have never used it. Great location close to town and restaurants and short walk to beach. Right behind the Manzanita Wine bar that has great fire pits by the street and pretty good wine as well. Like it so much that If it was for sale I would be interested.

Excellent Weekend Getaway

My husband and I found this rental perfect for us. We loved how close we were to the eateries, market and beach. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Neighbors were quiet and we didn’t hear any noise from the wine bar. We were very comfortable staying here. Will try to stay at this property again!
