Mountain Valley Getaway. Cozy farmhouse near a beautiful lake in northern Utah.

Updated kitchen with center island and farm table. Comfortable living room. Wi-Fi, perfect if you need to work remotely? The wi-Fi works great! Two second floor bedrooms and half bathroom. Main floor master bedroom. Watch the sunset over the mountain from the large covered front porch rocking chairs. Covered patio and outdoor furniture in back with patio table and chairs and BBQ grill. Nice fire pit and roasting sticks perfect for the back yard wiener roast or s’mores. This home sits on almost an acre of grassy yard. Room for volleyball or a fun game of kickball. Mantua Reservoir is perfect for boating, fishing, canoeing and is a popular ice fishing destination in winter. A five mile path around the lake is great for biking or walking/running. All within walking distance from the house. With Inspiration Point and Willard peak to the south of Mantua, the trails are ATV friendly and the view is incredible.

Golden Spike National Historic Site, Crystal Hot Springs, Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, Mantua Little Valley Days in July, Box Elder County Fair in August, 24 dedicated Pickleball courts located in Brigham City, Peach Days in September, Willard Bay, Utah State University, Brigham City Golf Course, close proximity to two LDS temples, Hardware Elk Ranch, Maddox Steakhouse Restaurant. Powder Mountain, Nordic Valley and Cherry Peak Ski Resorts are all within an hour’s drive. Don’t forget to try the best hamburgers around at Sydney’s Restaurant right here in Mantua!

Beatiful little home with amazing veiws and a small park to go for a walk nearby. Comfy beds and well equiped kitchen. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely stay here again.

The house is perfect! I would suggest having an additional blanket in the closet that two people can share on the leather sofa. Also, I noticed many fireflies around the house, there may be a nest somewhere. Also, having a tea kettle would be great. Aside for that, I loved the house and I would stay there again.

Great little place to get out of the valley. Temps are usually much cooler, especially at night. We’ve stayed here multiple times and every time it’s been great. Host are really easy to work with.

This was the perfect getaway for our family. It’s close enough to the city but far enough away to enjoy the country feel. It was clean, spacious and very homey. We really enjoyed the amount of yard space as we were able to do several outside yard games as a family for a good amount of the time there. It was a wonderful stay that we will likely to again.

The place is so beautiful and super cute and has a wonderful home feel! It was perfect for what we needed. We came up for our wedding and it was also our getting ready spot for the groom and groomsman. It was super perfect and beautiful. The only thing I would note is that the bugs were a little crazy and we wanted to get a bug zapper for inside/outside to help make sure we werent letting too many inside. I know that we were next to a lake and all the animals which was wonderful and totally fine.

We came for a pickleball tournament in Brigham city. This home was a short 5.8 miles away in a good location to make the drive easy with minimal traffic! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. Absolutely would book it again!

Warm and cozy 1906 farmhouse completely renovated. Very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the home. Communication with the host was great. Awesome setting with a beautiful lake nearby. We were there for business meetings and our only regret was we didn't book it through the weekend in order to enjoy the quaint towns nearby. Love that there are so many "Mom and Pop" restaurants, antique stores and shopping. Will definitely stay here again for a romantic getaway.

Everything was so comfortable and nice. They had a convenient guide of things to do around the area and got back to us quickly. They had a smart tv so we could stream anything but the WiFi was not good. We did an internet speed test and it scored 1.0. Other than that it was great :)
