Watch your favorite movie in the living area with Dolby Surround Home Theater w/ DVD & CD Player on a cozy sofa that pulls out into a sleeper bed for extra space. The kitchen island offers bar seating and there is also a dining room table that doubles as a great place to enjoy your favorite family board game. A full-sized bathroom with shower and a laundry room complete the ground-level. Off the living room, you'll find a beautiful brick patio which offers a quiet getaway spot for lounging in the fresh air while enjoying your favorite drink.

Afterward, stop by Fort Raleigh National Historic Site to learn about early European expeditions to the area. The Roanoke Island Festival Park is an interactive experience with live interpreters that teach what life was like on Roanoke Island for early settlers and native cultures where kids can even hop aboard and explore the 16th-century inspired ship, Elizabeth II.
