Charming island living awaits you and your loved ones at this Manteo home! Centrally located amongst the town's restaurants, parks, museums, and beaches - the opportunities for memory-making are endless.

Inside the beautifully appointed interior of the home, you'll find nautical-themed mementos, comfortable furnishings, and an open-concept layout. Sit back and warm up in front of the heat of the electric fireplace, and stream your favorite shows and movies on the large TV. The adjacent kitchen is a culinary gem with its ample meal prep space, stainless steel appliances, and expansive center island.

Your rest and relaxation will be found as you slip under the plush linens in the bedrooms and rinse off in the home's walk-in showers. Private TVs in each of the bedrooms ensure that there will be no argument over the remote. A private washer/dryer and central air-conditioning round out the home's interior perks.

Outside, enjoy the North Carolina sunshine from the front and back patio while grilling, sipping on sweet tea, and visiting with those you love the most.

Adorable, convenient OBX getaway

Horatio's Hideaway provided the perfect location for a 2-couple getaway to the Outer Banks. The house is exactly as represented in the photos - clean, cutely decorated and supplied nicely with dishes, cookware, new appliances, books, games, and even helpful info on the area. It is also easily walkable to downtown Manteo. Check-in and check-out was super easy and communicated efficiently by the rental company. My one notable negative about the rental is that the mattresses are very light and thin. Several backaches resulted.

Quiet, beautiful.

Interior space for immaculate, well appointed and peaceful. I love it and would like to return. I love coffee or wine and a book outside. Exterior spaces were a disappointment: spring debris (porches, hardscape or yard) not addressed for a few weeks, it appeared. I cleaned rockers on each porch in order to use them, but walked in heavy pollen to and from. Moved kitchen rug to back door to minimize tracking. As a coastal North Carolina resident, I know this could have been addressed earlier.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful, well appointed home in the heart of Manteo. Easy 15-minute walk to all the shopping, restaurants, and taverns. Very clean and cozy. Comfortable beds, modern kitchen. It’s a perfect little home, hope to stay there again sometime.

Beautiful property!

What a gorgeous little place! We loved our stay. It was clean, new, well appointed and down right cute. Plus the neighborhood was quiet and very charming. Close to town as well. We could not have asked for more. Will be back for sure!

Weekend Getaway

Nice Location in walking distance to the downtown area (20 minute walk) The house was cozy and looks EXACTLY like the pictures. The Beds were super comfy and the kitchen very clean and organized. For Short Stayers... Dish Soap and Laundry Detergent Pods would make a nice addition. Overall great stay!
