Your little piece of heaven to unwind & relax. Get lost in the beauty of the Ottawa river with magnificent sunsets, Kayak thru the serenity of the wild beauty, lay down on the beautiful private sandy beach, gaze at the night sky, have a family bonding dinner at the firepit or patio, or enjoy at our waterfront outdoor bar - you'll leave this place with sublime memories to cherish.

3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens) comfortably host 6-7 adults, also an extra folding bed for an extra person that can be set anywhere.

Want to work remotely from within nature? We got state-of-the-art Starlink 100mb+ internet and a WFH setup.

4 Kayaks (2 adults and 2 kids), BBQ grill & full kitchen

Each room is heated by an individually controlled electric baseboard heater and also has a ceiling fan. Readily available running hot water supply in both washrooms and kitchen. The washrooms are completely renovated recently. Plenty of clean towels, linens, and toiletries are there for your use. The cottage also has a fully functional wood-burning fireplace for that added ambiance!

Full kitchen includes microwave, stove, oven. and a large refrigerator. Make use of the assorted cooking pans, utensils, spices and dishes for hosting a large dinner. Plenty of board games, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, Netflix, Youtube to watch your favorite movies.

The 1350 sqft cottage has its own private sandy beach with a dock. The water gets gradually deep so it's very safe for a family swim. There are plenty of beach umbrellas and camping chairs, life jackets, and outdoor sports equipment (volleyball, badminton, soccer ball)

Four Kayaks for you to enjoy the serenity of the Ottawa river, but if you are not quite the adventurous sort then lay down on the hammock by the beach and listen to the birds chirping and waves washing ashore!

At night enjoy not one but two fire pits - one by the beach and one adjacent to the cottage, surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs with plenty of firewood for those memorable bonfire nights. The river view Caribbean themed outdoor bar is perfect for serving your favorite drinks while listening to your favorite music.

The cottage also has three patio dining tables for that coveted outdoor family dinner.

The property is situated in a very friendly cottage neighborhood.L, fenced and gated and there is plenty of parking inside. The area is very safe and free of any dangerous animals. Oh also did I mention it’s a great place for fishing?

This place is quiet yet not too far away from town amenities- in 8 min driving distance you will find almost all items you would need:
- Metro grocery (open 7 days a week till 9 PM)

- Great cafes & restaurants
- SAQ (Liquor store)
- Pharmacy
- Hardware store
- Street food vendors
- Medical clinic
- Auto repair

The famous Chutes Coulonge is just 15 min drive from the cottage - The major tourist attraction consists of Zip-lining, tree scaling, hiking, and many more.

Pets are allowed, however, please keep your pets under your constant supervision, as the neighbors may have dogs as well. Also, please use pet blankets on sofas and beds if you like your pets to accompany you.

Lastly, please note, we are not a party place, ideal for single-family or couple of closed knitted families. We do ask that you respect the noise by-law and keep volume and voices reasonable after 10 p.m:) as there are neighbors on both sides of the cottage. Trust us, we understand you are on vacation and we know you want to relax but we just ask that you be respectful!

Beautiful!

The cottage was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality family time with our two teenagers! The beach was great, the kayaking was incredible, and the sunsets were out-of-this-world!! Best of all, it was quiet and comfortable. We would go back anytime : )

Un endroit merveilleux

Un endroit merveilleux! Chalet propre, confortable et fonctionnel. Grand terrain. Petite plage, quai, accès à la Rivière des Outaouais pour faire du paddleboard ou du kayak. Endroit pour faire un feu. Piste cyclable à proximité. Aussi, le propriétaire Chowdhury a été d’une disponibilité impeccable pour répondre rapidement à toutes nos questions. Vraiment un très beau séjour!

Exceptional on multiple dimensions

Host was proactive, communicative, responsive and thoughtful. Unit was well stocked with all required amenities, and then some. Cleanliness was excellent. View, sand, dock, patio : all beautiful, spacious and clean. Metro grocery store nearby opens 7 days a week. Definitely plan to return to this one!

Great getaway

A little DIY feeling, but everything was very clean, well kept, complimentary water bottles, all appliances and furnishings in good shape. Most importantly, the location was excellent, great little beach for the kids to play in. Good launching ground for the kayaks (also provided by the property owner). Can’t say enough about how great it was, the owner was extremely communicative, responsive and helpful. Really felt like it was important to them that we had a great time.

Highly recommend.

As advertised, clean, organized, very spacious and has all the amenities you would need. Beautiful waterfront property with lots to do outside. Great wifi for rainy days. The host is very kind, and available at all times to be of any assistance.

Despite the weather, our stay was perfect. Needed a place near to Pembroke to visit elderly friend, this cottage has everything needed for our stay. Well equipped, lovely location, felt like "coming home" Thanks again

Great Location for a family

The property was just as advertised. A great fit for our young family with the excellent sand beach and gradual slope into the water. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Incredible Experience

My family and I had a lovely stay. The location is beautiful and the host had anticipated our every need. As someone else had mentioned, the cottage is even nicer in person. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, but the host was so prompt in every response, I know we would have been taken care of. We will be back next year!

Nice cottage on Ottawa river

Easy check in, listing was very accurate. Cottage was well stocked with everything that you could need. Right on Ottawa river kayaks and good life jackets available. Plenty of outdoor chairs to watch the motorboats go by or to sit by the fire at night.The host Chowdhury was very quick to answer any questions I had. My two year old granddaughter had so much fun she didn't want to leave. Will definitely return if we can in the future.

On the positive side the oven and fridge were immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. The BBQ was so dirty (and rusted) that we had to spend an hour cleaning it. The well water has such an unpleasant smell and taste we used bottled water to brush our teeth and rinse vegetables. While the location is nice, the outside of the cottage did not seem to have had good spring cleaning and the beautiful gardens weeded. The deck was freshly painted but some of the boards are soft and rotting underneath.

Our recent stay at this remarkable cottage on the Ottawa River was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a plethora of amenities that made our vacation truly unforgettable. With its well-equipped facilities, stunning outdoor spaces, and comfortable rooms, this cottage provided the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. One of the highlights of our stay was the abundance of recreational options available to us. The presence of kayaks and life jackets allowed us to embark on thrilling river adventures, exploring the picturesque surroundings and soaking in the beauty of the Ottawa River. The private sandy beach became our playground, with beach toys adding an extra element of fun for both children and adults alike. We spent hours building sandcastles, swimming in the clear waters, and basking in the warmth of the sun. The presence of two fire pits was a delightful surprise. We enjoyed cozy evenings by the beachside fire pit, toasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starry sky. The second fire pit on the lawn provided a serene atmosphere for relaxation, where we unwound and reflected on our adventures. The owners had even thoughtfully provided firewood, ensuring we had everything we needed to create unforgettable memories around the crackling flames. Beautiful sunsets, beachfront, and quiet. Perfect cottage for a relaxing time. Easy communication with owner, well stocked amenities. Did I mention star gazing? Highly recommend.

Amazing spot....very dependable owner! Great updates....bathroom, kitchen, doors and windows.

No complaints what so ever. Perfect family place....grandchildren had the best time. Neighbors are welcoming, even towed my family back when ran out of gas on the boat...lol. Boat launch just down the road. The local businesses are welcoming and not a "tourist trap".

The cottage was lovely. Exactly as described and shown. The little beach area is very accessible for children. Lots of outdoor space to relax and admire the beautiful view. The owners were very responsive. Loved that we had access to the kayaks for the old ones and the and the young ones :) The kitchen is very well equipped. Overall, it was a great stay.

Sunset paradise

This is a delightful cottage, from the minute you step inside you feel at home! The setting is stunning and sunset heaven. Our host was very good at getting back to us with door codes and instructions for getting water pump etc., set up and available if we needed anything. We wished we didn't have to leave. The owners have obviously put a lot of love into it and it shows. The kitchen was well equipped for the most accomplished chef, and honestly we have rented a LOT of 5 star luxury places but have never found a kitchen as well equipped as this. We didn't get to use the Kayaks as we had an elderly friend with us, but would love to go back with our pontoon boat and explore around the islands.
