"This was unfortunately one of the worst experiences. I should have did better research on this place. I did book this place by mistake. however, we decided to try it anyway. Everything posted online was very misleading. The room we got smelled so bad as if there was water damage. Who ever stood there last you can smell they were smokers. This place is outdated and needs to be better maintained. We felt very uneasy there.
I have to for credit to the manager for at lease hearing me out and doing...

"This was the perfect place for a solo getaway! I had my space but knew Kathi was close at hand should I need anything. The drive from Portland was long enough to feel "away" but short enough to be practical. The tiny house won my heart! You can feel the care that went into every detail. I look forward to returning! "

"We loved this home just as much on our second stay as we did the first time.The house is spotless and comfortable. It's clear the owners take pride in keeping everything updated and welcoming. We have already decided this will be where we stay when we visit Hillsboro in the future! I will add that the host communicates extremely well!"

"I give this stay and the host a one star review. For anyone that is interested in staying at this home, be aware there is no central heat or air. It is also not listed in the description.We had booked 3 nights and left after 2 and had to find another place to stay. There was no heat in the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen.We froze at night with temps in the 30's and had my 90 year old mom with us.We contacted the host after the first night and told them we would be happy to pay for the one night...

"The hosts answered my questions promptly. The house was stocked with the bare minimum. Only a few small spoons (I have kids) but five or so giant soup spoons. Enough knives and forks. Almost no cooking pots/pans, baking dishes and other kitchen necessities. I was hoping to cook a meal while we were there. We stayed in December. There was not an extra blanket to be found. Only one blanket on each bed. The house itself was adequate. We only stayed for two nights. "
