I called the number to find out, Dennis wasn't there, and wasn't going to be there at all for our stay. "The motel was in perfect walking distance to the historic area which was great since parking during the day in town in hard to come by. The staff was super friendly and the motel was quiet at night even though it was next to the main road."

"It is not new or modern, but we didn't expect that and, in fact, were looking for antique charm, which this is! Centrally located in Manitou Springs historic distric, so walking around all the shops and restaurants was super easy. We used the valet, so parking wasn't even a consideration or issue--again, super easy and worth the money. Lovely stay for an overnight or quick weekend getaway!"

"Out of the three hotels I stayed at, this room was my favorite. It was so spacious, and I loved the robes as well as having access to a refrigerator (even mini) and microwave! The property was so cute, I just wish that the pool was finished before we got there because it was a bit too warm for the sauna and hot tub sadly. Overall great stay, and even though the lobby is pretty small, it would’ve been nice to have a little breakfast, but I would definitely stay there again just for that...

"Tava Motel in Manitou Springs provides good basic service, at a good value. The rooms are decent size and clean. Breakfast room was well stocked. The location is a bit farther from the downtown strip than expected. My only complaint are the towels in the bathroom: too small, too thin, and not very absorbent. I suspect house cleaning is using too much fabric softener in the laundry But there are enough towels to make up for that shortcoming. I would stay there again."

An old style traditional American motel: half-circle layout, parking in front of your room, pool in the middle of parking lot; Simply dated, but very well kept and clean; I was surprised how long (early and late) the reception was actually staffed; quite reasonable breakfast. TV set-up allowed us to watch FIFA World Cup. Would stay again."

"Could be better !!! Wifi is not good and keep getting disconnected after 4th floor. Their system were down on the day we checked in . Also instead of 2 queen bed room , they provided 1 king bed as adjustment which our family has to squeeze in ( with no compensation) . Staff needs lot of improvement in handling customer concerns rather than saying sorry."

"I am in awe of this property. The location is breathtaking, I love the entire place. The breakfast is something I am still thinking about, and I’m very sad that this was my first out of three days because breakfast did not match up anywhere else. I think it is so amazing that they let you be on the property until 5 PM because that allowed my family to take a moment and enjoy the beautiful scenery and have lunch at a picnic table up by Bighorn Lodge later in the day. "Our host, Brandon, was friendly and helpful. He noted that because we booked through Expedia, he did not receive our personal information in order to contact us, so he was glad to have caught us upon arrival. The Indian Paintbrush room was lovely. Beds were comfy, hot tub was relaxing, small bathroom but large shower area. The breakfast was yummy! The B&B is steps away from the main drag of Old Colorado City, so there is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend...

"I was there by myself. I needed a place to stay I felt safe. While this is an older motel it was clean. I did find a couple bugs inside. PLUS, you could see through the bottom of the entry door Nice shower. Bed was squeaky and not the best mattress. But owner was super nice. I would stay there again."

"Not many frills but great location and surprisingly quiet. Clean, fridge and air conditioning worked, and you could walk to two good dinner restaurants and Mo’s great breakfast diner. Shuttle to the more touristy area and cog railway is right down the block at daze inn. Recommend !"

"Breakfast was good with several hot options, hard to keep everything stocked, but staff tried. It is not the cheapest hotel, so I was surprised to pay $21 a night for onsite parking. Room was spacious and good water pressure in the shower. Wish AC was stronger, it never got below 72 even though we had it on high the entire time."
