Nice hotel with great potential but our experience wasn't all that great. The hotel was mostly empty during our entire stay, there were only about 5-10 occupied rooms in total which I felt rendered reduced services throughout the hotel. The buffet system was very slow. There was one station were you would order the protein, which was made to order, and another station to order the sides, but there was no coordination between the two stations so you would get your side first and your main dish 20 mins later... One night 3 of us ordered salmon that was served extremely under cooked. The salad station was very limited, so was the bread options. The menu was exactly the same for lunch and dinner during our entire stay so we ended up venturing out to eat outside the resort so we wouldn't have to eat the same every day. Breakfast options were limited as well. Drink service was very slow because if you order wine they have to go and get it from a wine store that's far from the restaurant, cocktails are brought from the outdoor bar which is also far from the restaurant, and bartender service at the beach and pool was extremely slow, which was hard for me to understand why as the hotel was completely empty.
The hotel grounds are really nice and all the common areas are very clean. We were very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. The staff was friendly but sometime it felt like they were a little lost. Another downside was there was constructions ongoing which was annoy
