"I emailed to ask if I could have an upper floor with runway view and on arrival I got exactly that -,8th floor which is the top floor and we could watch the planes coming in to get us in the holiday mood.
Lovely bar area but it can get busy so seating can be a little problematic
About 3 minutes to go from hotel door to train station door for the airport skywalk."

"This is not walking distance from the Manchester airport. Just a heads up. Shuttle was not running & I found out that it only runs a few hours very early mornings. So just be prepared to spend 15 to 20 pounds for a taxi ride.
With that said, great place. Needed a place to stay for about 10 hours to get a shower and nap before my next leg of an overseas flight. Also didn’t want one that charged me $250 for that privilege! Premier Inn was the answer. I love their clean neat rooms, comfortable...
