This beautifully-updated,1-bedroom plus loft, 2-bath vacation rental has a wonderful view of the Sherwin Mountains and the Village at Mammoth, and is a very short walk to The Village/gondola!

Features include: new carpet, "tile-looking" linoleum in walkways and kitchen, and all new furniture. This condo has a full kitchen, balcony, outside complementary porch closet with snow toys, microwave, gas fireplace, 3 TVs (all flat screens), 2 DVD players (one in the living room and in the bedroom), DVD library, stereo with a cd player, 3 phones and free high-speed WIFi access. Minimum of 2 nights.

The living room has a queen fold-out couch, while the bedroom has a Bunk Bed(Twin over Queen) and a California King bed in the loft. There are 13 stairs to reach this unit, and it has 2 levels inside. The entry-level has the living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs is the loft with another bathroom. This rental is across the street from The Village gondola for easy access to Canyon Lodge. Ski back to the complex via the "Village Ski Back Trail" (conditions permitting). This unit sleeps up to 6 people.

No smoking and no pets.

Two paper parking passes are located on the kitchen counter. Parking is unassigned and available on a first come, first served basis.

Great place to stay!

Access to the village gondola was very good, and two parking space permits made for much easier planning because we were two groups coming from different places in separate cars, and arriving/leaving on slightly different timeframes. Check in and out was very easy.

A nice place, almost like ski in/out.

The village ski back trail is accessible off the corner of the rear parking lot about 50yd before the bridge. It was easy to walk there, ski to the bridge and walk to the town lift. Coming home was a long, slow downhill on the ski back trail behind Roller Coaster. (That trail gets soggy and slower in the late season, lots of polling, and probably never good for snowboarders, but it was still in good shape mid March this year.) The outside storage room was full of shtuff. No room for guest storage.

Lovely place and location

Proximity to the village is always a plus, and the spot was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the the over-fireplace tv was tilted down for better viewing!

Poor management, bad experience!!!

We went to Mammoth for my daughters birthday, and booked this property specifically because it had a hot tub in the listing, even a photo included in the photo gallery. It's a tradition to take my daughter skiing for the day and then soak in a hot tub. Well to our surprise when we went down to the pool area in our bathing suits that the hot tub and pool are under construction, and that was never disclosed to us in our lengthy check-in instructions. And not sure why they didn't put it in the listing either. And when brought to the attention of property management, they handled it very poorly, with no sympathy, relying on the "small print" in our rental agreement. Also, their was a dead cockroach under one of the beds, the coffee pot(s) didn't work, the tea kettle was so rusted out it fell apart when moving it off the stove, their was no basic condiments (cooking oil, butter, etc), the couch was very sloppy and uncomfortable, the linens were very chinsy and low end, and the list of "fines" for leaving the lights on, or not starting the dishwasher, or not locking a window were very penny anti for someone who just paid a thousand dollars for a couple nights stay. Also, the ski locker was so crammed with junk, we couldn't even put one pair of skis in there, not sure why they even left the ski locker key out for us to use. Definitely wouldn't stay here again just based on the pickiness and pettiness of the property management.

Good apartment with amenities. It could have had some more cleaning material like a kitchen countertop degreaser like 409 to help guests keep the place clean. Besides that everything was enjoyable!

Mammoth

I would like to say this property is very nice. The kitchen looked as if it had just been remodeled, as well as being very clean. Plenty of room for my family of five adults. The location was next to the Village which made it very convenient to get to the slopes. As for parking, there was plenty of room even with the huge amount of snow that fell. Arlene worked tirelessly, hour after hour, to make sure the cars could get out.

Best drive up property within walking distance of the village. Best property for riding (coasting) up to the gran fondo starting line. Extra appreciation for the owner's tie to the fire department (One guest is a fire captain in Reno).

Great place!

Super easy check in and out! Place was clean and loved having drinks/ coffee on the balcony. Great location next to the village and kitchen was perfect! The only suggestion would be a new mattress on the pullout couch but other than that, the place was amazing!

Great spot close to the Village

A group of coworkers and I stayed at this property for a post-busy season ski getaway. The proximity to the Village was perfect - easy access to the Gondola and the shuttle to Main Lodge. The property itself was clean and as expected. This is the perfect spot for a Mammoth trip, I would definitely stay here again.

great place. great location but…

the place is really nice but the loft bed is terrible. I basically slept in a huge hole in the bed and had to throw my leg over to get out of bed. If not for the old bed i would give this place 5 stars

The condo was great for our family of 4. It was spacious and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The only think I would change is the bathrooms. They need updated. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Unit #21 review

My review is not allowed to be viewed as they claim I put the location of the unit, yet all over this is the exact location on the descriptor. I can clearly see VAL D'Isere #21 all over this and I didnt write it....Unit was nice, although we didn't cook as we were out most of the time. Came back to condo to have the TV in living room no t working, mgmt came and after 30 minutes finally believed us that it was about to crash (motherboard in TV). So family vacation required us to separate into different rooms to watch TV. We left a night early as it really was unfair to our family to not be together on a family vacation. The also charge cleaning fee however you will be charged additional penalty fees you if you don't clean up after yourself in the kitchen or dump the trash? Then why have a cleaning fee?

Amazing Location!

Right across the street from the Village! We actually preferred the stay over the village because we always had access to our vehicle, right away! The house itself was perfect. We only had 2 people, but 4 would have been fine. Definitely booking this property, next year!!!

Mammoth Lakes getaway

The property was good overall, it was very clean and everything worked as it should. You can tell this is professionally managed rental. We did come at a bad time, air quality was bad due to the fires, then there was change of weather which caused high winds, knocking out power for over 4 hours. At which point, since we didn't know the extent of the outage, we had to decide to either stay and hope to get lucky or change our plans so we don't waste our time (the travelers most precious commodity). And so we did, and checked out a day early. I will still see if maybe the management will give me back a bit since we only used 2 of 3 days. The one thing I realized is that the unit was all electric appliances. There was no way to cook or heat anything during the outage. (BTW. Due to Covid, many places are closed and indoor activities limited, another factor for leaving early. I realize it's not anyone's fault regarding the outage, it just wasn't the ideal vacation I had planned.
