  • Enjoy the convenient location of this pet-friendly unit has to offer, located on the ski back trail and easy access walking distance to the Village across the foot bridge. This two-story condo located within the Val D'Isere community features 3 bedroom, 3 full bathrooms, and an awesome bonus game room the crew will love. Regardless of which season you are visiting Mammoth, this is the perfect vacation home option for a large family or multi-family visit. Guests will find themselves less than a 5-minute walk away from the Gondola and only a short car ride away from the Sierra Star Golf Course, shopping, and dining options at The Village at Mammoth. The condo features a spacious open floor plan seamlessly connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is furnished with a large comfortable sectional where you can all gather around a custom rock, gas fireplace and flat screen Smart TV, WiFi, or enjoy some of the games provided. Or if you must get some work done, there is a home office desk set up. Across from the living room is the dining area set with seating for 6 for everyone to gather over a home cooked meal. The fully stocked kitchen offers all you should need to prepare family meals. The unit also offers a private washer / dryer giving you all the comforts of home, and an upper and lower private balcony deck with private BBQ. On the upper level of the condo, the primary bedroom features a King bed with TV and access to the en-suite full bath with tub/shower combo. The lower level downstairs offers the additional two bedrooms and two full baths. The second bedroom offers a King with flat screen TV, and the third bunk room offers two sets of Twin over Twin bunk beds and flatscreen TV. The full shared bath on this level has a separate vanity area and tub/shower combo. The private laundry is located on the lower level. The Games room is also on the lower level and is complete with a Pool table, Fuseball Table, large flatscreen TV, sofa and full bathroom with walk-in shower. There is an outdoor ski locker complete with boot warmer and storage to keep all your adventure gear. As an added bonus you can bring Fido along as this unit does allow 1 pet and is pet friendly! This unit is set up to offer everything you need for the ultimate Mountain getaway to remember! PLEASE NOTE: The complex community amenities are currently under construction and unavailable for access, with no estimated time of re-opening. This includes the pool, hot tub, common area laundry facilities and recreation room. During summer months there will be active construction activity in this area, which may cause some noise disruption and vehicle activity. We apologize for any inconvenience. No refunds will be provided for facilities or amenities not available. But remember - All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. This unit sleeps a maximum of 8. Guests will be provided two parking passes for the outdoor parking. To access this unit, you walk up a ramp from the parking to the front door, the entry is on one level, with two stories inside. Great unit for Ski Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property is great and we enjoyed our stay. For multiple parties sharing a place this is a great unit. Upside: proximity to Village and Ski Back Trail, unit layout & general condition, furniture and beds condition, game room, nice kitchen, and no outside stairs. Downside: 2 bedrooms very drafty and need new windows, heating in all bedrooms needs updated two of which had some plug-in units one had the old wall unit all of which were loud. The main areas had better heating. I believe that its advertised that community jacuzzi area is not operational, just be aware of that. We did enjoy the Athletic club access that is provide which has a great jacuzzi/pool area about 8 minute drive away.

The kitchen was fully equipped and a nice view from the kitchen & family room. The bathrooms included shampoo/conditioner/body wash like a hotel. It was a nice touch. The washer/dryer was operable. The condo had a nice layout and the bonus playroom with pool table/foosball was a great addition. The location is next to the village and short walking distance and close to restaurants. Free access to the large athletic club which is like 5+ minutes away was a big hit for our teenagers. The interior of the condo was older than expected and needed some repairs for the rental cost but overall it was a great experience and recommended.

Multiple windows are missing screens, so we had mosquito issues and could not maximize ventilation to help with the heat. Blinds in two of the bedrooms do not work - will not open. Ceiling fan is missing a blade so it is not usable. The dish washer does not dispense detergent properly; soap is not released. Floor not suitable to walk on with bare or stocking feet. Had a great time with the location but with a little care the unit would go from "OK" to "great."

Deceiving Pictures Don’t Tell the Whole Story

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me start by saying that we have tried repeatedly to work with both Mammoth reservations and RedAwning Services to mitigate the inconveniences that were caused by a toilet on the premises that did not work among the other issues in this very dated townhouse. Neither company was particularly helpful, nor supportive during this process. It wasn’t just that the toilet didn’t work, it was that we had spent one day of our very short vacation waiting for someone to come fix it only to find out that it was irrepairable. Furthermore, they were “kicking us out “Sunday morning because they had renters coming in behind us. This is concerning because the toilet still wasn’t fixed, which meant they were knowingly renting it to another unsuspecting family with facilities that were broken. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. The carpet is on the verge of disgusting. It needs to desperately be deep cleaned. The shades and blinds on the windows are broken in almost every room. The game room downstairs would seem like an added bonus, except for the fact that it is not stocked with adequate pool sticks and the table looks like it might fall over in the next earthquake. The only redeeming quality about this property is that you can actually walk to the village as it claims. Otherwise, I would steer clear!
