"This location was excellent. We were a big group with kids and had more than enough space. The backyard was great for the kids, bonfire and space to play games, and a good dock to dock our boat. Great communication with the host and very clean. Would recommend this place. "

"This was a well maintained property with wonderful river views and boating dock. The neighborhood was lovely to walk in with easy access to the local bike trail. It was a fun place for our family to spend time together!"

"Cottage was just as pictures presented it to be. Lots of room inside, lovely view. Shane was very easy to deal with and ensured that everything was perfect. Only downside was road in was a little rough. Would definitely recommend this getaway and would stay here again. "

"Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. "

"It is a beautiful stone house , situated on the St. Lawrence, with the most amazing flower gardens. Multiple exits at the back, with lots of different seating areas to enjoy the view. Or enjoy the hot tub with a constantly shifting view. Really enjoyed the flotilla of sailboats, near sunset, on a flat calm river. It doesn’t get any better. The accommodations themselves were accurately described in the site photos. Lots of areas to be alone and quiet. Likewise the kitchen, dining room, and sun...

"The rustic look and feel of the house was wonderful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Also the games room in the basement is very nice to have. In particular we enjoyed the pool table. The location and property are very quiet which we appreciated. The town was small but we still had a chance to explore, and also enjoyed a hiking next to a waterfall about a 15 minute drive from the propery. Overall we had a good experience."
