"Very nice property with everything you néed. The walk into the village is just over 1km, either along a hilly route, which is quieter, or along a level route, where you walk right next to a busy road. The latter option is okay in the evenings, when traffic is less.Nice views from the house. Great Terrace to sit outside. "

"The Caravan is in a good location, in an easy walk to town. Yes, it has a view of the driveway, as in the photos, but you can also see the bay and mountains beyond. The heating is excellent, the beds are comfy and we felt very good here. The kitchen is reasonably well-equiped and is a bonus, as there are few good restaurant options near by. (Do drive up to Pizza in the Skye near Portree; a truck but outstanding pizza). Ideal for two, perhaps four would be a bit of a squeeze. It is an old...

"A unique place to calm down and just enjoy life. Would totally recommend that experience. We shared the otter pod with me, husband and 2 kids and it was very comfy. Place also has hot shower and good sanitary."

"5 minute walk to all town amenities, was great to have a fridge and cooking facilities, hosts were friendly. Across the road from the beach and walking path. Highly recommend!"

"Loved staying in the wonderfully appointed cabin, it had everything you could need for basic meal cooking. The shower as terrific, as was the bed. The cabin was very clean. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our 2+ week long Scotland trip. The views from the cabin were especially nice too."

"We loved Isle of Skye and the this house was lovely. The sunroom was my favorite. The laundry was a definite plus too. We had a slight difficulty with how to get in but this was a vrbo issue and not an owner issue. All in all it was great. Would love to return one day!"

"The Shepherds Rest was our favorite stay during our 2 week vacation to Ireland and Scotland. Very spacious, clean and welcoming. Especially loved our greeting of the black labs, so cute!! It was an adventure getting to the place, but our family loves adventures and it was well worth it. Would definitely stay again."
