Rising from the ashes of the former ‘Phoebe’ Cottage, ‘Phoenix’ Cottage is a cozy hideaway haven for couples wishing to escape from busy life and bask in the natural beauty of Mallacoota.
Newly built to exacting standards and beautifully appointed, ‘Phoenix’ Cottage sits on the cliff overlooking Bastion Point beach, offering a stunning outlook of the ocean through the trees from the top balcony. Nothing but the foreshore reserve stands between you and the ocean.
Look out onto the bush from the downstairs living room kitchen and enjoy your morning coffee from the outside deck watching the birds and listening to the waves crashing below. Drinks at night, is a magical experience from the upstairs balcony looking out over the ocean as the sun fades. Enjoy a short, five-minute walk to Bastion Point beach along the bush track in front of the cottage or leave your car behind and take an easy ten-minute walk into town. The fully appointed kitchen offers everything you require to produce your own gourmet meals using high quality cookware.

Large bifold doors, both upstairs and down, open to the outdoors giving a feeling of being at one with your environment.

Relax and enjoy the sound of the sea, the company of one another and the beautiful bird song.

The house is cosy and very liveable. It was clean, I enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and some lovely evenings on the top balcony looking out over the bush to the ocean. going to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing below always guarantees a peaceful sleep

Phœnix Cottage was perfect. Absolutely spotless, super well equipped kitchen, location was perfect with direct access to the beach at Bastion Point’s famous surf break. An easy walk into town along the forest edge with ocean view. Super comfortable bed and choice of two balconies for morning coffee or even drinks. We I’ll be back!

We had a beautiful little stay here. Stunning property. Beautifully made and crafted. We loved the feel of the cottage. Very warm and homely and the decor is lovely. We will def be coming back. We have enjoyed our stay here so much. You won’t be disappointed staying here in this quaint little cottage.
