"This is a grand old hotel with beautiful woodwork. We've enjoyed staying here several times through the years. It's right on Water Street where the main stores and restaurants are and is a nice little walk to Vesterheim museum."

"I’d recommend staying at Bluffside Gardens in Decorah! It was a lovely place, with fantastic views of natural prairie wildflowers, pine trees, great landscaping! So relaxing just viewing goldfinches, hummingbirds, deer and other surprising creatures!"

"Wonderful place to stay. Staff were incredibly kind, and seemed genuinely happy to see all the guests. Solid on-site breakfast options. Our room could have benefited from a dehumidifier, but not sure that could be helped based on the outside temperature and humidity. "

"Yhe staff were fantastic! Very friendly and accomadating. The breakfast was good and when soething was running low, the staff refilled in a timely manner. The room was very clean. Plenty of towels and washcloths+the beds were fantstic! I will recommend this hotel and will definately stay there again!"
