Nestled on a scenic ridge in the heart of Western North Carolina, this custom-built log home is designed to showcase breathtaking, long-range mountain views and night skies that seem to stretch into forever.

Great location, ski just minutes away, you can see the tubing facility from the kitchen window, shopping and restaurants just minutes away. Even sunday church was only a 3 min drive! Home layout ideal for the whole family, we enjoyed a few rounds of pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was cozy and had beautiful mountain views even though it was not high up the mountain. Very easy access to the cabin and pet friendly. The cabin is even nicer in person than on the photos, our kids really liked it. We played pool everyday. We did not use the bedroom on the lower level. The only downside is that it has very thing walls so you can hear everything from the bedrooms upstairs but still not a deal breaker for us. Also the master bedroom bathroom upstairs does not have a door. However, there’s another bathroom in the hallway and also one in the lower area. Overall everything was perfect and we would def stay here again. Host was great, communication was excellent.

The house was very nice. It was exactly as described. I would have liked a TV in the second King bedroom down stairs, but made due. Our main issue was the cleanliness of the house. It was clean, but yet still dirty. Little things like the back deck downstairs hadn't been blown off. Lots of tree branches and leaves and grass clippings. Also, the dishes were dirty in the cabinet. Whoever put them a way never washed them. Also, the house is a little dated. There was a rain storm, and water seeped in the door jam. And the back deck was probably about due to be replaced. With all that said, I would probably book it again because it was nice, had a great view and a great location.

Maggie Getaway

we had a wonderful stay in Maggie Valley. My daughter and grand daughter as well as her friend enjoyed their stay. They shopped and visited waterfalls in the area. Our kitchen was well equipped and cooking was easy. Our light was out in the oven and over the stove and it made the doneness of our food a challenge but we were able to get passed that. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly look forward to next year!

Darn good place-darn good communication

The place was fantastic, suited our needs. Everything went off smoothly, everything was as described. We found a few minor things that we reported and one of the things I repaired ( no big deal, just glued the shelf back together) Miss Norma was quick to communicate with us. I would recommend this place to anyone I know well so everyone involved would be satisfied with the experience.

Scout ski trip

We were determined to make it to the mountain despite the incoming winter storm and we are so glad we did! The house is just lovely and it worked out really well for us (2 moms and 2 scouts). We met the other scouts and parents at the ski area and skied two days on fresh snow! The location was great! The views were beautiful! The boys had fun playing out back and playing pool in the basement. Will definitely save this house for future trips!

GREAT Stay

We had a great stay in Maggie Valley. It was a great location to Cataloochee (at the bottom of the mountain from skiing) and close enough to Ashville to ride over for the day!! The home is as described, check in was digital and communication with the host was wonderful!

Awesome Mountain cabin

Place was just as described, perfect cabin for a family, very nice views and great location near ski lodge and tube world. Host was very easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner. Nice place to getaway. Would definitely stay here again.
