We were exhausted after the walk from the train station and they helped us get settled and take our bags so we could settle for a bit and then sight see till our room was ready. "Everything about CoDE is top notch in my opinion. Very clean, with private quiet areas to chill. No keys or cards to fumble with, all areas are secure with your own "code". I traveled with my son so we opted for the twin room with private bath, was perfect. I booked through Expedia last year and when we arrived there were issues with the booking but were delt with care, professionalism and swiftly resolved. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. If something couldn't be answered...

"Friendly staff and a lovely apartment in a great location (especially for the grassmarket). However there were a couple of issues with maintenance, broken blind in living area so couldn't open or close blind (ground floor), no light bulb in only lamp in lounge, no washing up liquid and broken bin in bathroom. Its a shame as overall the apartments were clean and decorated beautifully so hope they don't let poor maintenance ruin the standard. Biggest issue however was there was no hot for my son...

"They are renovating some rooms but the place was excellent the food, the staff, and above all the location is perfect for walking to all major sites in the city. Also very close to public transportation. Highly recommend."
