Fantastic property with amazing property management

Wished we could have stayed longer

Een paar hele fijne dagen gehad! We kwamen het appartement gemakkelijk binnen met de app door de toelichting van Daniel. En ook de keukenapparatuur konden wij bedienen. Het is een prachtig appartement, wel iets kleiner dan we op basis van de foto’s hadden verwacht, maar het voldeed helemaal. De ligging is perfect. Van alles op loofafstand, maar de metro ook zo dichtbij. Geen moment onveilig gevoeld in Madrid.

The apartment was fantastic. The building has a very nice elevator to get you and luggage to the unit. The unit is very nice with cold a/c. They were super accommodating in letting us in a little early and had great communication.

Clean, modern apartment in superb location

We loved our stay in the Atocha boutique. The location is perfect - walkable to so many major sites and museums, from the Big 3 art museums, to Palacio Real and Temple Debod, to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Super convenient to subway and bus, too, with tasty bakeries nearby, to boot. The unit itself is clean, modern and well-equipped (FYI: Nespresso coffee machine), and combo washer/dryer (worked well!). A bit cozy for American habits, but no issue in actuality.

As advertised. Good location to main train station and walkable to everything. Clean, neat property. Appliances a bit hard to figure out if not used to them. Automatic key to building did not work so we had to share one regular key with three people. Otherwise everything was good.

Leider ist das Appartement ziemlich in der Jahre gekommen. Fenster im Schlafzimmer ließen sich nicht öffnen, Klodeckel war locker und der Geschirrspüler war kaputt. Wurde leider nicht repariert.

Modern and clean, great location, difficult operation

We stayed here 2 nights. A pleasant apartment, quiet and clean and comfortable. But the check-in was almost impossible because the “magic key” we were sent worked on the apartment door but not on the outside, street door. After we did get in, there was a key on the table that did work on the street door but when we asked for a second key we got no response. And when we asked about adjusting the temperature (it was cold), we got no response. The stove-top and the microwave/ convection oven were mystifying to elderly Americans, and there was no booklet of instructions for the apartment.

The location was excellent - all major attractions within 10-15 walking distance. The apartment was very nice though I have some suggestions. They should provide instructions (in Spanish and English) on how to sort and where to take trash, how to use washing machine/dryer and microwave/oven. We rented for a week and there was only towel per person - should have provided 2 sets - we were required to wash them mid-week. There was a bit of a sewage like smell in the bathroom - we just opened the window quite often to get rid of it. Finally we had to buy paper towel (none provided) and extra toilet paper - not enough provided for a one week stay. We also had some challenges with the electronic key at the front door - though they did provided an actual key which we had to use several times. All that being said, I would stay there again.

Nice apartment- great location

Mad Flats made the check in process easy as someone was there to great us upon our arrival. The apartment is very centrally located to all of the main sights in Madrid and close to the main train station as well. It was quiet at night so we had no trouble sleeping in a busy city. We enjoyed our stay in Madrid and would recommend this apartment.

Great apartment in great location!

This apartment is very beautiful and is centrally located to everything you want to see and do in Madrid. It is clean and bright and spacious - very comfortable for my husband, mother, two children and myself. We LOVED the cafe directly across the street. We loved walking to Plaza Mayor. The listing should indicate that although it is on the 4th floor there is an elevator. I would also add that there should be a lock box for key access. Meeting an agent (and paying extra bc of late arrival) is impractical.

Clean, quiet and great location

Clean and quiet apartment in a great location in Madrid. We walked almost everywhere and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The host was very friendly and responsive throughout. Great trip!
