"When we arrived there was construction happening next door with loud equipment and blowing dust clouds. This left outdoor areas unusable and very dirty. The garbage bins out front smelled like rotting fish and were crawling with maggots. Beware of very steep downward driveway. "Good location liked the paddle boats! Bbq and outdoors nice! Fire pit was nice but didn’t get to use it due to restrictions! Swimming not the best as very rocky area! No AC so it is warm but we brought or own fans which helped some! Overall nice place and no issues! "

"We stayed here for one week with extended family. There was plenty of room for everyone, lots of nooks and crannies to relax. Lots of room for time together and time alone to read a book or relax. The cottage and lake area had everything we needed! The host, Rebecca, was very responsive and answered questions immediately. Will be back for a third booking next year!"

"My friends and I had the most amazing time at this lovely property. The cottage is beautiful with everything you need for a comfortable stay (beds were very comfy!). The host, Karen, was very responsive and and friendly. The location is great, close enough to Halifax so its easily accessible but the cottage feels quiet and private. Loved the firepit and the hot tub! "
