Le Escäpe is the latest in boutique cottage rentals in New Brunswick. Our completely renovated 1,500 sq ft A-frame cabin is located on the Miramichi River. Nestled among 11 acres of woodland, the privacy, serenity and stunning views of this property is unparalleled!

The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests in two spacious bedrooms, a loft space and a sectional couch to sleep on. Our two stunning full bathrooms will make you feel as though you have stepped into a woodland spa retreat. Every design detail down to the doorknobs has been carefully curated to appease the eye and calm the senses. Cathedral ceilings and natural light throughout give off a sense of grandeur, and the combination of contemporary furniture (featuring ample seating for family gatherings) with the warm wood tones make the space feel moody and luxurious, all the while maintaining that homey cabin feeling we all crave.

Our cabin boasts many amenities including an OLED TV (Netflix, Prime, Crave, Disney+ included), Smeg Coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. The kitchen is fully equipped and we have a wide variety of seasonings for your cooking needs.

It is next to impossible to be bored at Le Escäpe! During the summer months guests can enjoy a relaxing paddle board ride, fishing or swim in the river. Our gazebo overlooks the breathtaking river; a perfect location to enjoy a coffee and book in the morning, or catch the sunset in the evening. Guests can enjoy a relaxing stroll around the property to indulge in some forest bathing, or take a quick walk down the road, access local hiking/biking trails, or take advantage of our outdoor seating. During the winter, the scenic woods is the perfect place for trying out snowshoeing for the first time!

We provide a broad selection of board games in the cottage, but the true highlight of Le Escäpe is amenities (games room is under construction)!

The cottage is located on a paved road with a long driveway. Although the road is plowed during winter months, winter conditions can be variable and access road into cabin will require all wheel drive and snow tires in poor conditions. Groceries, Alcool NB, and restaurants are a convenient 25 minute drive away in the town of Newcastle. Additional shopping and dining options are available in the neighbouring towns of Miramichi and Blackville, both 35 mins from the property.

Please note, although there is cell service and Wi-Fi at the property, we cannot guarantee excellent connection for cell service at all times due to the remote location.
