"I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. "I did ring Tina regarding a couple of things and she was pleased to get feed back. For example no blue bags to put dirty linen in . The cottage was decorated inside and out for Halloween and as older adults did not want to look at them inside the cottage didn't mind outside. I have recommended the cottage to family in same village for visiting family and friends."

"The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. "There was a slight issue when we checked in as the information folder containing wifi codes etc was missing. But this was quickly resolved by contacting the owners, who were friendly and responded quickly to messages. Overall the accommodation was great, spacious and very quiet. But at the same time close to local facilities and transport. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area."

"Home from home for us. Our fourth visit and not our last. Hattie loves playing ball in the field opposite. You can walk to Totnes easily from the cottage via Dartington and a straight route takes you there in hour! Love going to Nkuku and Riverford kitchen restaurant (book well in advance) even went to see a musician in Totnes (st Mary’s church) and Ashburton hall, amazing venues.Great stay, comfy bed and all the amenities you need to cook, thank you 🙏"

"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"We were a little disappointed with our stay . It was impossible to hang clothes in the wardrobe in Bedroom 1 as it was stacked high with bed linen . Also a lot of bed linen in other wardrobe . The fan in one of the bathrooms was not working resulting in a lot of condensation on the floor making it very slippery . The canisters which may have held tea and sugar were empty . The name on the lockbox has faded . On the plus side it was a great location "
