"We spent two nights in this lovely house. (We are walking the Solent Way so it is perfectly positioned if you are walking.this trail)We all thought the beds were extremely comfortable and had a great night's sleep.It's spacious enough for a big group with three generously sized bathrooms. With a well equipped kitchen and choice of places to sit I would really recommend Kings Lea.It even stopped raining long enough for us to enjoy the garden!!"

"Stayed with 10 friends with average age of 60. Photos of house interior on Vrbo are generally accurate - those on the website for Wheathill show different furniture and soft furnishings. Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. "Very friendly staff. Close proximity to the port. Okay hotel for a 1-2 night stay, I would not stay longer than two nights. The hotel may not have control, however, the smell of sewer was very strong in the room. Had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent the smell from permeating the room. The elevators were very dirty, not sure how often they’re cleaned."

"No Air conditioning! Bar under with loud party all night long. Windows open for air. You book this room only if you want to party. Otherwise you will be kept up all night long. 90 degrees outside and hotter inside do to restaurant ovens directly under room. It was the worst experience. Jet lag turned into nightmare 😫"
