A charming vacation home on the shores of a lake and near the forest, in the Uckermark region, in Lychen—the town of seven lakes

Our vacation home was newly built in 2012 using solid construction methods and renovated for vacation use. It is located on the outskirts of a small town that attracted thousands of vacationers even during the GDR era. Lychen, a small town in the Uckermark region, is surrounded by seven lakes, forests, and many freely accessible hiking trails that run right along the lake, as well as well-maintained bike paths through numerous forests—all of which pass by a lake and offer plenty of opportunities for swimming. Boating? Paddling? A steamboat ride through breathtaking nature? No problem! The popular “music raft” is also a highlight of our town.
The vacation home was built using a modular construction method on the edge of a campground.
It borders campsite C79—separated by a privacy hedge—and is thus located directly on Lake Wurl, with a freely accessible sunbathing area, sandy beach, playground for children, boat rentals, and more. Thanks to its proximity to the campground, it’s also possible to let the family—or the kids—go camping in addition to staying at the vacation home, so they can try out the camping adventure while you book 4-star accommodations for Grandma and Grandpa. At this natural campground, there is a midday quiet period and a nighttime quiet period starting at 10:00 p.m., so that
no one is disturbed during sleeping hours.
About our vacation home (FH). Built new in 2012, the house was designed specifically for rental purposes. It is available for booking year-round and has been built without steps or thresholds, making it wheelchair-accessible. It is fully equipped with underfloor heating powered by a heat pump. Additionally, there is a fireplace in the living area for cozy winter evenings. The FH offers 65 square meters of living space with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 utility room, and an open-concept kitchen with living area. The bedroom features 2 single beds, a wardrobe, and blackout blinds. The bathroom is elegantly designed and equipped with an open shower; the 1.2-meter-wide sink is wheelchair-accessible, and a toilet is, of course, included. In the utility room, you’ll find everything you might need: a hair dryer, an iron, bed linens, towels, cleaning supplies, a beach towel, and cushions for the patio furniture.
The kitchen opens onto the living area; the warm wine-red cabinet fronts create a cozy atmosphere. Refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, stove, range hood, coffee maker, kettle, toaster—all the amenities are there. The living area is spacious. The TV and radio are within view from the sofa, as is the freestanding wood-burning stove. Blackout curtains can be drawn over the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The sofa bed, featuring Schlaraffia mattresses, can be folded down into a double bed and sleeps 2 people. From here, you look out onto the outdoor terrace, which is located at the corner of the building. Garden furniture is set up. A grill and 2 bicycles are available for free use in the attached
garden shed. A double carport adjoins the vacation home directly and provides covered parking for two cars.
Your vehicle is parked right next to the vacation home.
From the terrace, you can watch the square, see the lake, or extend the awning and enjoy some privacy.
