An amazing stay

This was a really nice hotel. Everything about it - the location, the nice sized room, the room design, the tastefully outrageous decor, and the a la carte but seemingly all-you-can-eat breakfast all combined for an excellent stay. We highly recommend it!

Our stay at Home Hotel Havnekontoret was absolutely wonderful. From check in to check out, the staff were friendly, courteous and offered information and help whenever was needed (and all spoke English). We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every day, offering a wide variety of breakfast items. There was coffee and tea available pretty much all day. We didn't stay at the hotel for dinner, but I believe many other guests enjoyed it. The room was a little small, but most European hotels I've stayed in are the same. We used the gym and sauna, which were great to have on-site. The hotel was also centrally located to Bergen city center, right next to Bryggen and the Bryggen museum. We only ever needed an Uber/taxi to get to the other side of town, pretty much everything was walkable. We would absolutely stay here again if we came back to Bergen in the future.
