"Perfect spot for our summer family reunion ... half from the East coast, the rest from Ohio. We enjoyed swimming (yes, the pool water was cold but super refreshing on hot days), fire pit, spacious kitchen for cooking, breezeway with extra ovens and refrigerator. The big living room was fun for family games and just hanging out. Gorgeous views, loved the sound of the stream nearby. "Trail" goes up to a meadow, but looked like it had not been mowed, so will say with other reviewers that the trail...

"Nestled in the sweet spot of the Laurel Highlands, Shawn’s cabin did not disappoint. Ample, easy parking. A large front deck with table and chairs, partly covered. There’s a fire pit and a barbecue grill. The newly renovated cabin’s interior was beautiful. Cathedral ceilings, open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living together. Comfortable furniture, excellent TV. The kitchen was very well equipped. A full sized fridge and stove, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom with shower was...

"Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet. Lots of wildlife. Really nice that each room has their own heating/air conditioning unit. "

"This was the third time we have stayed at Chet's place. The location works well for us and the place is roomy and clean."

"Nice home and comfortable. Enough room for 8 people. Dining table has 6 chairs. Could use 2 or more chairs or bar stools. If you plan to cook, you will need pots and better pans. I’m glad I brought some after reading other reviews. I should have brought serving bowls too. There is a small charcoal grill outside.All in all, my family was comfortable and we had a really nice time. It felt like home away from home."

"Beautiful house in a quite forest area. House and hot tub were amazing, you can hear the stream from the bedroom windows. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area."

"Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. Definitely "exceptional".P.S. As someone who grew up in Westmoreland County, I have always loved the town of Ligonier!"

"This is one of my favorite places to stay! It’s a stand-alone space above a detached garage, behind the host’s home. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. You park directly next to the door, so if’s really easy to unload/load your things. A half-flight of stairs leads up to a small living room, kitchen with a table, bathroom with a shower, and a bed space with a closet. Kept very clean! Jane is a kind, communicative, excellent host. She wants to meet new guests, but then will interact as much...

"I can’t recommend this place enough! Everything was perfect! It was nice to have so much space. The hot tub was relaxing and in a great spot. We got to grill out and make s’mores at the fire pit. We didn’t get to play the games inside but, we was excited to see them. This was exactly what my family and I needed! Thank you again "

"An excellent place! Immaculately clean, comfy, and well-appointed. Beds were especially nice, with high-thread count sheets. Communications were outstanding; we had minor snafu with a TV connection and Sam responded immediately with detailed information to resolve it. Quiet setting yet close to groceries, stores, gas, etc. Will absolutely reserve again if travels bring us here another time "
