"The setting is lovely and the walkable locality and village amenities. We must have booked the budget room though instead of the advertised "deluxe", first floor courtyard, old stables. Room was fairly grubby, area behind the door hadn't been cleaned forever, shower tiny, bedding and towels clean but quality poor and only 1 skinny little pillow each? Our problem though was we arrived at tail end of heatwave and asked for a fan or something but apparently any available had already been given...

"In the advertisement in expedia.com, the additional price of breakfast for a person was quoted as £22 which seemed to be somewhat too expensive, while the hotel itself offered a buffet breakfast for the additional price of Euros12.50 which however was raised to Euros16 during my brief stay at the hotel."

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The reception staff were outstanding - super helpful and very willing to help. EUR 13 for a continental breakfast was a bit steep but we did take advantage of the coffee and Danish for EUR 5 deal."
