"We stayed at Pine Lake Resort as a couple and specifically chose and paid for a lodge because we wanted to enjoy the lake-view patio. This was a major reason for choosing the resort. We were not aware that some of the lodges, particularly several located at the back/end of the resort, do not have any lake view.
Unfortunately, when we checked in, we discovered that our lodge was one of these properties, with no lake view at all. We spoke to reception, but were told that the resort was fully...

"Lovely caravan, very easy to find and check in and extremely well stocked. Really kind touch to leave milk and biscuits for us, especially appreciated after a long journey! "

"On arrival we was greeted with a strong smell of damp. There was a lot of spiders and dead and live wood lice all around the house. The live were taken outside and the dead were sucked up the very doggy smelling vacuum cleaner.
The sofa smelt of dogs and the sink had stuck on food remnants and dead wood lice.
The only good points were: the bed was comfy and the nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco.
Would we recommend and stay again? Unfortunately no."
