"This little place bucks the trend where other establishments are failing and has charm in abundance. From entry to exit, everything is just done right. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The ensuite bathroom was again well maintained with large shower. There are other personal touches within the room such as fresh milk provided and a baked treat daily. "WoW, I wish we could have stayed longer! Room was spacious, house is huge and extremely comfortable. Free beverages and snacks! Breakfast was unbelievably awesome!!! The smoked salmon was the best I ever had. Thank you so much, the hosts go way above and beyond!!!!"

"This is a gem of a hotel, staff are so attentive and friendly, room was comfy and cosy. The food is up there with any top notch restaurant, especially if you like seafood! Great selection of beers, gins, whisky, wine as well. All in all a perfect 10 out of 10!"

"Warm friendly reception. Clean and tidy room with comfortable bed and linens. Great pub with excellent food. The staff is full of wonderful warm Scottish people. "

"Very well maintained property . The leisure facilities were nice and children enjoyed the pool services. It’s not free you have to pay to use. Room type we booked was very spacious for a family of 5. Location is good to explore the highlands from Dundee town itself is very pretty We enjoyed our stay "

"Great management and staff. Everyone performed above expectations. I had a tv issue and it couldn’t be resolved so they upgraded my room. That was truly unexpected. The food was top notch also. The chef mixed a dip for my chicken that was very tasty."

"Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. "

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"Loved this area and the hotel staff! Everyone super nice and helpful. The area was great! It had many shops and some restaurants. I recommend Ruby nail salons (great pedicure and massage chairs!). I also must mention that I had an excellent massage therapy session with Suzanne at Saatva Wellness Center! As to the hotel, dining was really good! On-site was a pool and sauna. There is an elevator from ground to first floor only. I was very grateful to be able to get a first floor room as I have...

"No evening meal staff great stupid on line check that does not work for tourists thank god for great staff. Business needs to invest in people and workakable IT system or better still let the staff do it for no cost"
