"The place was comfortable, but needs a good cleaning. We stayed two weeks. The steep fire escape steps to get into the rental felt treacherous in the rain and would be really difficult for kids and for people with mobility challenges. The biggest problem with the place is that this unit has noisy neighbors. It is in a four plex building and the neighbors below and to the side played loud music and were loud. The walls are quite thin. On Friday and Saturday nights, the parties went until 6 am. "

"The home is a one side of a duplex. It is shotgun and the front living room has been set up like a bedroom. The mattress in this room is super uncomfortable. I am a side sleeper and tossed and turned all night long. I would wake up every morning and my shoulders and lower back would be killing me. I messaged the owner in VRBO and received an automated response, nothing addressing my concerns. This place has so much potential. "We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our 3 dogs. And it was quick and easy to get to Audubon Park and City Park to take them for nice long walks. Also quick to get to the French Quarter and other areas. The kitchen is very nice which we used mostly just for breakfast every day as we ate out at great restaurants for lunch and dinner. Overall it was a great experience!"

"The house was perfect for exploring New Orleans and going to Mardi Gras. Kitchen and bath were beautifully appointed and very comfortable beds. Super clean. Host was exceptionally helpful and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Very quiet and safe feeling neighborhood with restaurants in walking distance. It's one block off the Canal streetcar line that takes you down to the French quarter or up to City Park. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay was spacious and comfortable. Communication with the boat was easy, and the location is close to the streetcar. It's not in the prettiest neighborhood, but we didn't have any issues with that. There were some stains on the blanket in the first bedroom, but the second two were fine, so we just took those. Clean towels, bathroom, and kitchen, but there wasn't any detergent for the washer/dryer. "
