Traveling with kids? Try this secluded & updated 3-bedroom home close to Okemo

  • Hi, we are using Homeaway/VRBO for renters who love the slopes, the outdoors and places like Okemo. We are always open to compromise, specially in order to establish good relations with renters. We only rent to responsible families who are willing to treat this home as it if were their own (or better 😉).

    Why is this home perfect for this traveling with kids?
    1st- flexible check in and out. (and prices)
    2nd- Proximity to town (we know how hard it is to move around with kids).
    3rd- Proximity to OKEMO!! (1.8 miles away)
    4rd- spacious home with extra play room in the basement.
    5th- Safe space, with front lawn where you can monitor the kids while they play outside.
    6th- Walking distance to the shuttle (4 minute walk / 0.2 miles)
    7th- located on a private road, off a side street, but close enough to town for a quick run to the supermarket.

    OUR HOME HAS QUICK ACCESS TO THE V.A.S.T. AND THE SHUTTLE TO OKEMO AS WELL AS TO MULTIPLE TRAILS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

    Ask about our Wednesday check-ins for 2023 week stays; special- check in midweek and get the 1st day for free (already accounted for when you request it). It is automatically discounted upon quote request/booking.

    As it stands, rent for 6 days, get the 7th free, rent for 3 weeks; get the 4th week free, just submit for the entire time because it is already calculated (NOT including ski season: Thanksgiving to End of March).

    This beautiful family home is perched on a mountain side with spectacular views of the surrounding hillside and the town of Ludlow. The cabin's fully southern exposure affords views of the pines from the comfort of the living room while snuggled next to the wood stove. Sitting on a private acre, you can hike, camp, and snowshoe up the mountain to your heart's delight. This is your perfect home for a family stay where you can truly get away from it all.

    Although Okemo is just seconds away, still enjoy skiing and snow boarding at killington, pico mountain, magic, bromley and stratton with great dining and shopping in Manchester and Ruthland just a short drive away. Golf is just down the road.

    If you're looking for peace and serenity, then this is it. Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home perched on pine hill, does not neglect accessibility to civilization.

Cozy Ski House

Comfortable house and great location for a weekend at Okemo with the family. It was arctic weather (4 degrees) so we were grateful for the wood burning stove and well heated house. Enjoyed our time there.

Clean and comfortable

The property is located in a nice setting and close to town and Okemo. It has 3 bedroom's with double beds, 2 full bathrooms, ample seating and a large dining room table! It was exactly what we wanted for a 3 night stay!

Mountain relaxation

Ideally situated comfortable ski getaway

We took a last-minute ski trip and found this ideal property located 5 mins from the Okemo Mountain Resort. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable and spacious. The communication with the property manager was easy, detailed, and prompt. The house is situated on a quiet road, within easy reach of a supermarket, and pleasant for walking. We would definitely stay here again!

Great get away for the fall!

Sergio had the place ready to go once we arrived. The property is well kept, heater up, and easy to navigate. If you ever are thinking of staying in solemn, this is an excellent choice!
