Unser Aufenthalt in dieser traumhaften Villa in der Nähe von Lucca war einfach perfekt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl.Ein echtes Highlight war der große, gepflegte Infinitypool im wunderschönen Außenbereich – ideal zum Abkühlen, Relaxen oder einfach, um den Tag in aller Ruhe zu genießen. Die Liegestühle und die Terrasse luden zum Verweilen ein, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang. Die Lage ist ruhig, idyllisch und auf einem Berg gelegen mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Lucca und andere sehenswerte Orte der Toskana sind aber schnell erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder buchen – absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die Erholung, Komfort und toskanisches Flair suchen!

My family and I spent five wonderful days in villa Gioma. The magnificent view of the landscape and the beautiful well equipped villa were so attractive that we spent most of the time there. The young ones had a lot of fun in the pool.

Stunning Villa with fabulous views

Giacomo has created a villa that manages to combine modern facilities/decoration with rustic charm. We were a group of 4 couples in our 50's, getting together as friends. The inside and outside spaces were excellently appointed. The views from the villa are simply stunning. Go with your eyes open, getting views like that means a 10/15 minute drive along a road/track that is fine but has to be taken carefully. But it's definitely worth it. Giacomo is an excellent host (ably supported by Rebecca). He is very responsive and quickly dealt with a couple of minor issues we had.

Fantastic Villa

We had an incredible experience. The villa was massive. All bedrooms were beautiful. Air conditioning, well furnished. Current appliances. Bathrooms were new. Hot water. Panoramic views. Beautiful setting. The drive from the main road is about 8 mins up a picturesque serpentine road so I recommend having a rental car. The home is a bit isolated but we loved being perched on the mountain top with gorgeous views of the Italian countryside. Couldn’t ask for a better setting or location 40 minutes from the beach. 15 minutes to Lucca. An hour to Florence. Hour and 45 mins to Siena. Our host Rebecca was always available and she helped us with taxi service to the airport and anything else we needed. Highest recommendation. Best family vacation. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

Family

My husband I rented this house for a week, with our adult children, and loved everything about the property. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. We enjoyed using the pizza oven and grill. The most amazing part is the views.. absolutely stunning. We enjoyed a few days hanging out at the pool and taking in the beauty and several days heading out to see other areas of Tuscany. You do have to drive a bit off of the main road, about 10 minutes, but we did not mind this at all because the house and view were worth it.

Wedding Stay

We had our dream wedding at the Villa Gioma. This place was truly beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. We had our wedding ceremony in the back area of the property overlooking the picturesque hills of Tuscany. Our pictures came out incredible! Additionally the host/staff provided by the property were all amazing to work with. Alessandra who was our wedding planner, did a great job coordinating the vendors, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went well. Additionally, we had a personal chef named Niki who hosted a great pizza making class using the property's pizza oven, and made us a wonderful Italian dinner for our wedding night. The beds and rooms were all very comfortable, everyone slept great. The host was very responsive as well, we had an issue with the water supply but he called someone to get it fixed right away. Overall this was a dream vacation and wedding, and we will have very fond memories to look back on for the rest of our lives. The only critique we would say is the road up the mountain is a little rough, so make sure you rent a good car/suv that is capable. Google maps doesn't navigate well to the property so some more signs along the road may help, but the views from up there are worth it! Alessandra escorted us up the mountain the first night. Overall, everything else was perfect, thank you!!

Wunderschöne Villa in den Hügeln von Lucca

Sehr schön gelegenes toskanisches Haus, früher wohl eine Art Kloster, mit tollem Blick sowohl nach Lucca als auch zum Meer. Rund ums Haus schöne Sitzplätze. Neu und geschmackvoll renoviert. Jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Modernste Technik. Jeweils circa 30 Minuten nach Lucca und zum Meer. Anfahrt: die letzten Kilometer auf einer sehr kleinen Straße. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Paradise in the Tuscan hills

This really is a stunning villa in an idyllic location. The villa has recently been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. It was very clean and well appointed and had everything that we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and all with en-suites and the beds were very comfortable. The villa is ideal for outdoor living, with a large terrace, BBQ area (with pizza oven) and an infinity pool with spectacular views. We had planned to do several trips out, but the villa was so perfect, we spent most of the time relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Giacomo, the villa owner was very helpful. His communications were excellent. He was always available to help and answer questions. He even took time to come and visit us to say hello (and bring ice cream!). Martina, his agent, was also very good. She met us on the main road and directed us to the villa. She showed us around and explained everything and she was available by text to help and organise things. It was a perfect short break with family and friends. I can’t praise the villa highly enough. I can recommend it to everyone and we shall definitely be coming back again. Thank you Giacomo.

Gem of a Villa in Lucca

This property was 5 stars on all fronts. The view is beyond comparison, seeing both Lucca and the Mediterranean Sea from the pool deck was amazing. The rooms are all spacious, each with ensuites, making this a great stay for large groups. The renovation and restoration of the entire property is fantastic! Beyond that, our host was such a wonderful person, he arranged a private chef’s dinner for my wife’s birthday, sent an assortment of breakfast treats one day, and then to make it even better he joined us to host a traditional Italian brick oven pizza cooking night! Accessing the Villa requires a rental car, but Lucca is a short drive. We were a group of two families, with kids between 5 to 9, and the outdoor speakers really enhanced everyone’s enjoyment of the pool area. It was also nice to have TVs in every bedroom. The kitchen had a great coffee machine, and was well appointed. We plan to book again!
