"We were very pleased with the property. We brought our 25’ center console and was able to maneuver it and park at the dock. Water depth at the dock is around 3-4’ depending on which way the wind is blowing. The water depth varied between 4-5” in the 3 days we were there but was still plenty for the boat. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to coming back! Thanks Brooke and Red!"

"Great little place on the water. Quiet neighborhood, friendly locals, and super nice host. Its a definite gem. Restaurant at entrance to neighborhood was a great breakfast spot. Get it to go and enjoy it on the porch overlooking to the water. Bring your boat just keep in mind the clearance of the bridge is 5-6ft and the ramp is just on the other side. Fishing from the dock was good as well. Host has put a lot of thought to being sure you have everything you might need while there. Attention to...

"We had a great time at this beautiful new Inner Banks home. The property was spotless, with fresh, high-quality furnishings that made it feel both comfortable and upscale. The private water access was a wonderful feature, and while the fishing pier was a bit of a walk, it was worth it for the peaceful setting.The owners were excellent hosts—communicative, friendly, and extremely responsive to any questions we had. "Easily one of the best vacations ever spent with my family! There was always something to do in this little oasis. Fishing, boating, even dolphin paid us a couple visits. The 5th wheel was really nice too, slept like a baby. I think we turned the tv on twice. Tammy and John are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.. two genuinely awesome host! We will be back! "

"We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year!"

"Very hot in the house ac didn’t work and the window units couldn’t keep up rat poop and poison everywhere in cabinets and around the house. A lot of junk just sitting around everywhere around the outside of house "

"The place was just as we had visioned. The quiet calm was just what we were looking for during our stay. The house was clean and the school of dolphins that came by on Friday was a great way to start the day. We would definitely lke to visit again in the future "

"This was our second time staying at this Very clean, perfectly located home in quiet Vandemere right beside the boat ramp for easy access to the Bay River. Home was stocked with all the essentials. Will definitely stay here again! "
