"Southside Harbour Vacations Apartment was a lovely little gem along the Antigonish Harbour. We loved the apartment! It’s a spacious layout with beautiful decor. It was meticulously clean. John and Kathryn were very friendly hosts, they shared lots of information about the area’s highlights and accommodated us with kayaks and a lobster steamer. The host was available for any questions - thank you so much John and Kathryn -PS-it was a pleasure to meet your children- "

"Super location, super simple, appartement room has everything you need, modern and nice view from the room. Really enjoyed and strongly recommend !!! Communication was good with friendly Sabine (?)."

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"Last minute booking due to NS forested park trails being closed due to wildfire risks…what a great pivot! Beautiful house, well stocked with great hosts. Lots of stairs if that is a concern. "

"A magical, very secluded little cottage in the middle of nowhere for a very private stay for a small family. It's the cutest old cottage house, super cozy, right next to calm water. It's a small house, so everything is small. The kitchen, the bathroom, the bedrooms, the living room. It's also old. "Truly enjoyed our time at the BigSky Sea Shanty! The views are unparalleled and the property is in a private area without any traffic. All amenities were provided and the hot tub was perfect for stargazing at nighttime. Lorin was a great host with lots of tips and suggestions for things to do in the area. Very prompt in responding to any questions. Very much appreciated our time at this cottage."

"Great place to stay and super quiet. We enjoyed the property very much and would stay there again at any given time. Two or three things could use some sprucing up but other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay at. We can recommend it to anyone. "
