The owner of this house certainly know something about decor, hospitality and comfort! We were 6 friends who travel together once a year. It may have been our most comfortable stay - and this was year 23! The beds were so comfortable that on our last day we unzipped the mattress cover to find out the brands of the mattress. We enjoyed our time spent in the house becausse it was so beautifully decorated. Safe neighborhood! Hot tub was relaxing. All good! Thank you!

Stayed here with 5 friends from college visiting Louisville for a football game and Bourbon Trail weekend. The house was perfect. The location was close to the University and downtown. The house was very well cared for, very clean and very comfortable for 6 middle-aged dudes reliving their glory days. My only "complaint" is that the house is located under the airport flight path but even that wasn't a big issue. Would definitely recommend this place.

The house is a beautiful old home in great shape. Plenty of space for our 5 couples. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were high quality. The kitchen had most necessary items for meal preparation. There was charcoal available for the grill. The back yard area and hot tub were lovely, but due to being close to neighbors, rental rules require no use of either after 10 pm. Airplanes fly very close overhead (near airport), but the sound did not disturb us inside. Several of our questions/messages were not responded to, and an additional stay contract was required but I had to sign before I could read it. Property uses video camera to monitor guests at the property. Very easy check out with guests only asked to put trash outside and load and start dishwasher. An additional security deposit (three hundred) was charged to my credit card a few days before our stay. We have not received this money back yet (writing this under 24 hours after check out).

Nice neighborhood near downtown

Four couples enjoyed this property during a conference downtown. It was roomy with each couple having their own bathroom. The manager answered any questions promptly. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the neighborhood for coffee, pastries, grocery and meals.

Large house for friends get together

The house had 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths (2 ensuite), so it was perfect for our group of 6 friends. The house was clean and well equipped with lots of towels, toiletries, etc. There was a large screen Roku TV in the living room and other TV's located in the bedrooms. The neighborhood was nice and quiet except that the house is in the flight path of the Louisville airport and UPS flys about 300 flights a day into its worldwide hub there. We did not notice the noise that much inside the house, but take note if you are a light sleeper (also take note if you are an airplane spotter). We did not explore the neighborhood on foot, but all the places we went (downtown to the Ali Center, Churchill Downs, restaurants) were only about 10 min away by car. Besides the airplane noise, the only downside of the house is that the wooden floors and stairs are VERY creaky. So, there is no way for an early riser to move about the house without disturbing others, especially if they are light sleepers. Given the age of the house I'm not sure there is any easy solution for this issue. Our group came out ahead at CHD, so that was the cap of a very nice get together.

Terrific House for all our adult kids

House was terrific for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Bathrooms were seriously great. Weather prevented us from using the hot tub or fire pit, but we had just a wonderful time after our bourbon tour. We’d stay there again in a heart beat!

Love this house!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The 5 good sized bedrooms and 5 bathrooms all with showers is so great! My bed was super comfortable, both the mattress and the sheets. Everything in the house is super intentional. Everything we needed without extra clutter. The decor is very nice as well. We hope to be back!

Great house for large group

We were in Louisville to visit Churchill Downs and distilleries on the bourbon trail. There were 10 of us. This property was large- had 5big beds/rooms and 5 updated baths...lots of space. Although we didn't use them, the firepit and hot tub were inviting. I recommend this house!

Great place to stay in Louisville!

A group of three families stayed here while in town for a baseball tournament and we were all thoroughly impressed with the house. The rooms are all spacious and decorated beautifully. We were there during a heatwave, and the air conditioning throughout the house worked great. The whole house was well equipped with everything we needed. It was very quiet, too - you couldn't hear people walking upstairs or showers running from the main floor, so it was very peaceful and easy for that many people to be in the house together. We appreciated the large dining room table that was large enough for 10 people to comfortably enjoy meals together. Great place to stay when in Louisville!

Perfect Guys’ Weekend!

Five guys in for a Bourbon Trail weekend and this house was perfect! Each had their own bedroom and bathroom! House was in a great neighborhood. All the amenities we could ask for, even a dining room table that easily accommodated a poker game with snacks. Host was highly responsive when we lost air conditioning and had it fixed before we got back to the house. Would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home!

This is probably the cutest home we've ever rented on VRBO. It was super clean, had many amenities, and was a great space for a large group. I'd absolutely recommend it to those visiting Louisville or the Bourbon Trail!!

Great House, Great Location!

What a cute house! Comfortably slept 11 for a great family celebration. Conveniently located near Churchill Downs, Louisville Campus and other major attractions. Plenty of dining, craft beer and nightlife nearby. (Recommend Hauck’s Corner!) The backyard is spacious enough for Ladder Golf or Cornhole but bring your own if you can. My Dad is already talking about coming back for his 85th! Thanks Kristen! You were a great host!

Perfect Little House

We were there for a stock show at the Kentucky Expo Center and this house could not have been in a better location for us. It was quick access, easy to get around, in a wonderful neighborhood, just overall a great house for our 9 people!

Super clean, nicely updated home

This listing is just as the pictures are. It’s a VRBO where you are happy to see that the pictures are a true reflection of the home. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean. The home is nicely updated with very warm and welcoming touches. My only thing to say is the location. Driving into the neighborhood made me a little apprehensive. It’s a neighborhood very close to U of L. I wouldn’t walk anywhere at night. I didn’t not feel safe per se. There are a lot of families that live in the neighborhood. There is an airport very close by but the noise machines in each room drowned out any noise. All in all, it’s a very beautiful home with lots of great space for 3 families (10 people total) to have plenty of room. Having 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms was really nice for our week long stay.
