Modern 2 story family home, open and airy floor plan with two double sliding doors to huge private backyard, with a sleeping quarter and full bathroom downstairs. 3 bedrooms upstairs, master bedroom suite, with double sliding door leading to a balcony. Yi was very attentive to my needs. She prepared the house nicely and the house was great. It has a lot of space and my friends and I were able to have a great time on our visit to the San Fernando Valley.

This property was nothing like the photos—which are at least 10 years old, if not more—filthy, poorly maintained, and full of broken items (old BBQs, stained couches, broken chairs). I had to ask many times for check-in and check-out instructions. The host keeps asking for extra money and, when questioned, promises a refund later. Communication is terrible and often takes days to respond. Every other review with concerns is accurate, while the 10/10 reviews have no pictures or explanations, which seems suspicious. The host is dishonest, dismisses guest concerns, and even tried to file a false insurance claim. This felt like a scam—avoid this property.

The property is not as advertised. Tired, unclean, and their pictures do not represent the actual condition. We tried to work with the owner and they were bot willing in any way to help. We did not spend a single night there. Complete waste and disappointment. Makes platforms like VRBO vulnerable to losing credibility. I highly recommend you do not rent this property.

torn mattress in the backyard, the whole lawn is full of mole holes, the trees are dry and there are many large dry sticks that have fallen and no one has cleaned them up, beer bottles and garbage. It's just an abandoned house. The broom that is buried under the leaves has been lying there for about half a year, I think. Trees looks like after fires and you don’t know when fall at your had !

Photos of listing are not accurate. Photos show a much nicer cleaner house and yard. House and yard are cluttered with excessive furniture. House grounds are not kept up. Counted 6 grilled in and around the yard with only one being functional. Carpets, drapes, walls, furniture are stained. Closets are cluttered with sheets and blankets and just random “stuff” all around the house. Open boxes and containers of food in kitchen and fridge. House could use some TLC for the price. House is about 30-40 minute drive to Hollywood and LA. Neighborhood was quite but road the house is on does get busy in morning and afternoon. Plenty of parking. Bedrooms were adequate.House served its purpose, but would look for a different place closer to the city next time even if it cost a few hundred more.

Pictures not accurate of proprty

Yi was responsive and communicated well during our stay. The beds were comfortable, but the state of the property was not ask shown in the listing pictures. Too much excess furniture, a lot of stuff in the kitchen (inc food), minimum basics of a studio kitchen not included, random stuff packed in the drawers/cubbards/counters and the yard was not maintained (weeds vs lawn, 3 BBQs in various stages of decay and a collection of patio tables). For charging a cleaning fee the kitchen floor on arrival was dirty (kept my shoes on the whole time) and overall the house was in need of R&M (tiles missing on the kitchen countertop) and a deep clean. The location was great for our family but disappointed in the reality vs photos in the listing for the price.

Great spot - awesome amenities, perfect for hosting a group of friends. Host very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend for anyone hosting a group of people. I liked the shakers, bottle openers, the games, and the folding tables. All were great!

Problems from the get go

I came down to this area to celebrate and graduate from school. Unfortunately, this property did not meet the expectations that we had. To start with the property owner got the check in date incorrect, and had to push back my check in time until later than it was on the agreement. As we were there on time, this did create some problems, especially since the temperature is a lot higher than normal and we had no place to use the facilities. Secondly, the property did not meet expectations. The photo showed one thing but when you get there, you realize how camera angles can dictate one view but when you get there, you see another. The place was not clean. All the TVs in every room did not work the way they were supposed to. Eric, we could not get any television stations. It used Roku and Samsung of which I had to download a subscription to try and pay to watch TV. We ended up watching TV on the iPad. None of the TVs were a proper size for the room either which made it extremely difficult to view if you were trying to view anyway anyways. The thermostat also was extremely temperamental. It was either freezing cold in the room were extremely hot. There was no in between.Another problem that we had was with the shower valves. They did not stay consistent and would not hold the temperature from day-to-day.The plus sides to the place were that the beds were comfortable. And the backyard was extremely peaceful.

1 night stay

Stayed for one night, no propane grill was dirty. Inhad to buy a new propane bottle. Which i left at the property. The property is old but it does the job, decent sized back yard with pleanty of space. The price is a huge rip off tho.

Woodland Hills Get A Way

Woodland Hills is a beautiful location. This house is suitable for large groups with children and pets. The back yard is huge and house is roomy. We only had 5 adults so lots of room for us. Great kitchen.

Great place for a small gathering

Great place for a small gathering. Plenty of beds and nice living room spaces for chatting and talking. The interior of the house was older and perhaps in need of some upkeep and not as pictured. It was a little hard to get in touch with the host before the stay, but Yi was very responsive during the stay. The backyard could use some upkeep and is not as pictured in the listing. The organization of the furniture is also not as pictured. For the price point, I wish the house looked more like what was pictured on the Vrbo website. But it served its purpose.

Slow, poor communication almost lead to a disaster.

The property itself was as described, but pretty messy with stuff all around. We mainly cared about using the backyard for a short after wedding sendoff. We described how we wanted to use the property, but the Host seemed confused and tried to add big fees, imply we could not have a small fire, etc. Working with the hose was very stressful.

Nice space, great backyard, great owner

The home has plenty of space and a beautiful backyard, which is what I was looking for. I had everything I needed. Also, I accidentally left some valuables at the property, and the owner was kind enough to find them and mail them back to me. I very much appreciate it! Would stay again for sure.
