Beautifully appointed guest suite with loft is available in the hills of Studio City. Enjoy the essence of this glamorous and historical 1920's Hollywood home while being just steps to Ventura Blvd.

This very desirable location is within easy driving distance to many L.A. areas including Universal and CBS Studios, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Bowl and downtown.

This one of a kind studio-loft has two levels, a queen-sized bed in the loft, which overlooks mountain and city views. Amenities include granite counter tops, recessed lighting, a 50'' flat screen TV (living room), a 14'' flat screen TV (loft), cable/wireless internet, parking.

Wonderful location. Easy access to entertainment, dining and tourist spots

Lloyd is very friendly and efficient. Loaded us up on ways to make our stay easier. We took his advice and saved us time and energy.

Nice retreat

Had a lovely stay. Property was as advertised, well appointed, quiet and private. Very comfortable, had everything we needed. Bath towels were so soft! Great place to stay as a couple. Close to everything but on a lovely quiet street.

If I need a place in the area again, this is my new go-to option!

Lloyd is an absolute character, the place is so charming and unique, and even though it’s close to a busy street, we weren’t bothered at all by noise. Only thing of note is that it’s not super well insulated, and we do try to keep energy and water usage down in CA. I stayed during winter so it did get chilly. If it’s cold, I recommend running the heater when you get back but turning it off before you go to bed, then turning it on in the morning. Keep the bathroom door closed because it lets a lot of cool air in, and use the space heater in the bathroom in the morning if needed. There’s extra blankets and the bedding is super warm so there’s no need to keep the heater on overnight if you do the above. And it really does warm up quickly, so don’t leave it on while you’re out! Also the tap water is not filtered, so bring your own if that’s important to you. Thank you Lloyd for kindly accepting my rescheduling during peak times of the year (due to family emergencies) and for providing such cute accommodations at a much more reasonable price than other options nearby. I highly recommend this place, especially because it’s separate from the main house so you don’t have to worry about bothering or being bothered by any of the residents :)

Perfect Los Angeles base

The guest house is beautiful and had everything we needed - WiFi was strong enough for me to work, including having video conference calls all morning, then my daughter and I apartment hunted in the afternoons for her move to LA. Host Lloyd is super friendly and helpful and even gave us some tips on neighborhoods to check out. Safe and lovely neighborhood with shopping and dining nearby. When I go back to visit my daughter in her new home I will check for availability here first. It was really perfect for us.

Perfect Stop Before Moving

Moved to California for work and needed a temporary place to stay until I found a place and Lloyd's guesthouse was the perfect fit! Will highly recommend to future out of town guests who want a little bit of their own space but close enough to me!

Whimsical view in the hills

We were so please with our stay here ! The location was perfect for our needs. We walked to Universal Studios, as well as found many car rental options on Ventura. Most of all, Lloyd's vacation home really felt like coming home after long days out and about in the city. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots and pan you need to cook a meal...and most of all the cozy loft bed with a view overlooking the mountains was by far the winning feature for me. It felt like a whimsical lookout tower. I'd love to stay here again or recommend to my friends. Thank you Lloyd :)

Fantastic cozy spot

Just what we needed to get away but not feel like we were missing out if we spent the whole day out in town. Super walkable to necessities and delicious food (highly recommend Dai Chan japanese-two minutes walk). Lloyd, owner, was very personable. Not recommended if you have accessibility requirements, due to stairs throughout the property.

Delightfully Charming

Both the house and Lloyd were delightful and charming. An ideal location convenient to West Hollywood, North Hollywood, Downtown, and highways made seeing all the sites and getting around easy. Lloyd was very sweet and welcoming upon on our arrival, and had a thoughtfully put together binder for any information that may have been forgotten during check-in. There were also plenty of amazing and delicious restaurants in close proximity.

Frankly Magical

Stunning architecture, like being in a fairy tale. The bathroom was a turret with high windows that let the light stream in. the lib in n was immaculate and beautifully appointed. A charming patio where we had coffee each morning completed our stay. Lloyd was the perfect host. I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Stay

Lloyd is an amazing host! I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the LA area. My boyfriend and I will definitely will be staying here again when we come back to LA. The location of the property is close in proximity to Universal Studios, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Dodger Stadium, and not too far from Venice Beach. Lots of shops and places to eat in the area as well and always felt safe in the neighborhood.

Perfect Stay

Lloyd was great with communication. We were lucky in that he was home when we arrived, and he came and introduced us, as well as showing us some of the features (which were included in instructions that were typed up, but it was a nice personal touch). The bathroom is stunning, the living space in comfortable, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. Nice neighborhood, quiet, walkable, with a variety of restaurant choices nearby. We would definitely stay again the next time we're in the Los Angeles area!

Mother/Daughter Vacation

Lloyd was an excellent host and the guest house was the perfect location for exploring LA and attending a music festival in Pasadena. After being out and about all day, it was wonderful coming back to this quiet neighborhood. Thank you for allowing us to share your home.

Comfy and cozy!!!

Lloyd , was very welcoming when we arrived to the property. He showed us around and he was so friendly. My family and I ,felt at home and relaxed .We went to universal studios, and decided to Uber it was only $10 for my family. He also recommend places to ate around his property. This cozy homes in a great location for walking distance, to restaurants and shopping. Thanks again Lloyd for letting us stay at your house.
