Thanksgiving Visit

Very nice and comfortable unit. All appliances worked fine. Electrical chairs were a pleasant surprise. Only down side were lack of blankets. Hot water handle in shower needed to be fixed. Otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Great home base for LA visit

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room. I especially enjoyed sipping coffee in the outdoor porch area. Rudy was quick to respond to any questions or concerns and the central location was very convenient. One parking space is provided which is great but if you have a large vehicle or a 2nd vehicle it may be a struggle. Thanks Rudy!

Overall great experience.

Great choice! Very helpful with our needs. Clean and equipped with everything you need. Would have loved to have beach towels or beach items. Would definitely stay again.

Clean house 6 miles from Hollywood

Everything was cool, house was clean the only complaint I have was parking, there is only one spot available and virtually no parking on the street... that is out of the host hands though so no complaints about the actual house

Great location!

Property itself is nice.....perfect for our needs...be aware it is part of a duplex so you have other tenants in rooms adjoining the master.....sadly the other tenants during our stay were up late and were loud and ignored requests to pipe down. But the landlord tried and was very apologetic.

A little gem

This was my second stay at this bungalow. I circled back - because for me and everything I have going on in LA, the location, privacy and price can't be beat. The host, Rudy, is completely accessible and so helpful. He stays invisibly involved which is perfect when you are working and busy and need time for yourself. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you could need. Rudy even provides the quarters for the washer and dryer - and asks that you leave the dollar bills for him - all on the honor system. I dig that. I'll be back.

Lovely!

My family and I had a lovely stay in Rudy’s cottage in LA. It was a sweet space, clean, comfortable and convenient for all our LA excursions. The parking spot was a HUGE bonus for such a crazy parking city. We really enjoyed being there and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank So Rudy & HomeAway!

Great trip!

I wish there had been another a/c unit or at least a ceiling fan in the bedroom, but other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay. The parking might have been an issue if we had a larger car, as it was a tight squeeze getting in and out of the area where we were told to park. Rudy was awesome and extremely helpful with anything we needed.

Handy mans special

The photos are accurate but what you don’t see is the front door does not latch closed let alone secure, only a flimsy chain lock. The small fenced front area has a better lock than the front door.There is nothing about this place that is square or flush expectionaly the floor, doors and windows. By the time you leave you will feel like you are walking on the bow of a boat on rough water. The place was very clean however we did purchase air freshener for the leagering order. You will definitely want to park in the drive way but beware unless you drive a really small car you will have a difficult time getting in and out even with no other cars sharing the parking area. While we had no safety issues you should know this is an area you need to be cautious and aware of your surroundings.

Great Stay

First off the owner Rudy is great. He is very helpful and friendly. I asked him for a couple of items for the kitchen that I need to cook with and he provided them the same day I asked. The united is just as described and the photos are accurate. This is not a new home and it is broken down in to several units, so if you expect something brand new you will be disappointed. That being said, the unit we stayed in was clean and everything ion the home was in great condition. There is off street parking. However, don't expect to park a large SUV or oversize car in the driveway there just isn't enough room to get them in and out especially if other cars are parked there as well. We felt safe in these home and we never heard any noise from the others in the unit or in the neighborhood. I would stay here again for sure.

Great stay

Great location and the owner was nice and responsive. The place is very clean and spacious. They also provide heaters for each room if you get cold at night. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans if you feel like cooking. Me and my daughters made pasta one night. Would definitely recommend!

Good stay!

Everything exactly as advertised. Rudy checked in with us to make sure everything was ok and was very responsive when we asked for dishcloths and a cutting board. The parking is a little tricky to get out of, but we certainly appreciated the security of parking off the street in our little compound. Great location. We would certainly stay there again.

Home Away from Home

I was able to rent this property from a Tuesday to Tuesday. Upon arrival, the renal was spotless, and the property was well cared for. The apartment was full loaded with amenities; towels, body gel, shampoo and conditioner, even Aloa for burns. I brought my two kids, and they enjoyed the very spacious living room, and shared a large bedroom as well. I had plenty of privacy myself in my own bedroom. Truly enjoyed sharing the bathroom, was a great feature. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities of a kitchen for 4 to 6 settings, and even held a few condiments. Everything was just great. I defiantly recommend renting this property.

This property was nice and comfortable

The neighborhood was a lil shady, but we had no problems. The property had EVERYTHING you need. There were even beach chairs, an umbrella and ice chest. The place was furnished very comfortably. Ruti was accessible, we didn't need anything though. Thanks for a comfortable visit.

nice to place to hide away for a few days

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. The house was clean and great for two adults traveling together. Four would fit for a short time though some might find sharing one bathroom to be tight. We had a minor inconvenience with something not working properly but the host was communicative and resolved it quickly. There were plenty of towels and the sheets were soft. Made sleeping a pleasure!

Comfortable and Convenient

We had a lovely stay. The home is comfortable, quiet and convenient to the interstate. Everything you need to feel like you are at home is provided. Parking is a bit difficult if you have a midsize car or larger. Totally doable but tight. The bathroom could use more towels as another guest suggested. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we felt safe. All around we were very happy and would consider staying again.

Nice comfortable house with friendly owners.

Property was close to everything we wanted to do in the city, and the walk out porch area with the big trees is nice and private. Could have used a few more towels as there was only 3 towels and 1 face cloth between three adults. The only other concerning thing was that I had two uber drivers tell me that the area that we stayed in was unsafe, especially at night.

Awesome host, Great place

We stayed with Rudy for 4 nights, and it was great! The location is really good, close to a lot of things (by driving, but it's LA) and the house itself is very comfy, full with equipment and when we asked Rudy to fix the bathroom door for us, he did the same day which was awesome! All in all, we loved staying here, and would definitely come back.

WELL KEPT HOUSE!!

Place was in very good condition when we arrived. Ruti the owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient with only a 15 minute drive into the lovely town of Culver City. There were numerous restaurants to choose from..."Rush" being our favourite!! Would book again if we came back to this part of Los Angeles!!
