We were kept up all night by the floor above us partying till four in the morning, until we couldn’t take it any longer and we had to bang on the ceiling to get them to stop. Which I understand isn’t the hotels fault. But without sleep we asked for late check out and the gentleman over the phone was amazing and gave us until noon. Then at 11:45 the extremely rude lady from the front desk came banging on the door like she was the police and told us it’s past our check out…. to which we told her we spoke to someone already and she said I know you need to be out in 15 minutes, leaving our baby hysterical from being awoken from a dead sleep already in his car seat as we were almost out the door. On top of this our three year old was absolutely terrified that we did something wrong. This is not a family friendly hotel and completely ruined our Father’s Day weekend. This is one place we will never be staying at again.

We stayed two nights on a short motorcycle vacation and it was a great place to stay. The room showed a little wear and tear but it was clean, comfortable and quiet. I’d definitely recommend.

I had such a great time at Inn at the sea! The staff were so nice and I love the location of the hotel! It’s right in the middle of town and everything is just a close walk away! Will definitely be returning again soon!

It's an older motel with no air conditioning. Not a huge problem, but it gets uncomfortable in the evenings. The chair in our room only had three legs so we had to keep it shoved in the corner in order to use it.

The location is perfect. Located pretty much mid-center of everything there is to do in Long Beach. The staff was friendly and we felt safe. The only issues we noticed was the floor in the room. It could definitely have used a bit more mopping and the filter in the Keurig coffee machine needs to be replaced. No water would come out when we tried to run it, otherwise the room was perfect. Nice, quiet and relaxing. Thanks!!

We had a great time staying there with three young boys. The location was nice. We could walk to the beach and downtown shopping/dining areas very easily! The only thing was that there was always someone sitting on the stair and our room was just in front of it, so we had to close the curtain all of the time.

We paid a premium price for a room downstairs. Walls are paper thin. Not only could we hear EVERY step taken by the guests above us, we could hear normal conversations from the rooms on either side of us...through the walls. We used a white noise machine hoping it would block the noise, but we could still hear the neighbor snoring as if they were in the room with us (louder than our white noise machine). Very disappointed.

After reading so many great reviews, we were disappointed with our stay here. The entry doorknob was bent, the stopper behind the door was caved through the wall, the small lamps did not provide enough light when the curtains were closed and the shower was awful. Poor water pressure, more water was running from the faucet than was coming out of the shower head and we also got a complimentary bath with our showers because the drain was VERY slow. The bed was very hard and the pillows flat and uncomfortable. The room was however very clean, as were the grounds. It is in an excellent location and it was quiet, except the people above us who stomped back and forth across their room for hours.
