"This Vrbo rental was true to its description. You're in the fresh mountain air, up on Cedar Ridge. The studio was clean comfortable and well supplied. I felt safe and secure. The outdoor private space was a joy to relax in, at days end. The hosts were attentive and pleasant. I found them a great resource for my walking, hiking and driving questions. Cooking in the downstairs attached residence permeates to the rental area. Photo shows upstairs loft and room at the end of the hall which was locked and occupied by the owner. "This cozy cabin is our favorite Twain Harte getaway. It has everything - great outdoor patio, fully equipped amenities, comfortable beds, all in a great location. One of the many things we enjoy are the reading lamps at the bedside. It may be old school, but it is a huge plus for us. We are already planning our reservations at the cozy cabin for next year."

"Kim and Jason promptly responded to my questions ( I had many ). The house was spacious for 6 adults, 3 kids and one dog. The front porch swing got lots of use. We enjoyed barbecuing our dinners out back and eating outside. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. There was a propane fire pit perfect for s'mores. There was central air conditioning but challenging to keep the bedrooms cool enough through the night."

"Peaceful and quiet stay. We slept so well with our toddler in the king bed. An optional rollaway bed was also provided. Doing a load of laundry after a couple days of camping, one of which was rainy, was spectacular. Close to Calaveras Big Trees state park which we visited the following day, just 8 minutes up the road. Bring your own dinner if planning to arrive late. There’s a microwave and a mini fridge. Hosts were friendly and accommodating."

"We stayed as a large group with more than 10 families and had a great time. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a large group.The property was clean and host was very responsive to our requests during the stay and came over to help with the hot tub and also gave a blood pressure monitor when someone in our group had a medical situation. We used the pool, hot tub, Blackstone griddle and all were in great shape and ready for use.Would recommend for large groups....
